Battle Ground

Ieria leapt from the transport alongside Medus, landing on an Arcana that had been making their way towards her charge and her lover, the claws of her weaponized feet digging in and forcing them to the ground before she bounded off with a blast from her shotguns. "Give me orders, your highness. I will actually obey these." She said to her Princess with a small smirk.

Business District

Leo would soon be the target of multiple shots to the side, courtesy of two pistols. Unlike the past several conflicts between the two groups, Temperance this time was wearing the reddish orange armour with the number XIV carved into the chestplate.

" Already on it," he relayed to Marianne, keeping his distance as he fired more shots.

Campsite: Wasteland

Lucas had been lost in his thoughts prior to the sudden rumbling. However, the second it happened, Lucas closed his eyes, hoping to pinpoint what was going on.

Battlefield

Glen grimaced silently as he cut down a minor Arcana and dropped another with a backfist to the head before he finally responded to Erin Any chance you can select what you deflect? I dinnae mind bullets and arrows, I've got my armor an' aura for a reason, but cannon balls an' rockets are somethin' I just cannae handle.

Business District, Vale

Geki was getting pings about a sniper that had forced Glen into cover and was lancing the other strongpoints with accurate fire. Thankfully, given the indirect nature of his weapon, he could hunker down behind the cover of ledges.

"SIGL 3 to all points," Geki peeked over to watch the Arcana weather the storm of fire. "One of you better be on that sniper. I'll provide suppression on the district."

More mortar rounds hammered down onto the Empress and her retinue.

Hope

The grayhair regarded Noa's appearance with relief, giving out a loud deep sigh. "Don't think we'll have to fight her. Help's appreciated nonetheless, Noa." Now that she thought about it, the brawler had something of a history with Alexia, something about being her rival of sorts.

It was weirdly touching to see her care, Hope thought with a smile. "Put the gauntlets away, please?"

Steiner grunted, assaulted with Temperance's gunfire. His perfect defence held still, but how long would it take until he faltered and let something hit him or, even worse, Emelinda?

With a brief pause available he fired a bolt of electrical current Temperance's way, hoping for him to cease firing for a bit to reposition or block the incoming shot.

Water Zone:Intense Aquatic Wrestling With Al

Al stared at the Grimm on the shore, without even needing to fish he already found what he wanted.

Are we going there? Are you seriously doing this?

Shut up Iktomi, I need to focus

Just… Don't go overboard this time

Alfred closed in on the beast slowly, squinting his eyes inspecting his prey, once at a certain distance, Al stopped moving forward, instead the two circled around, like dogs waiting to move in to the throat.

Vale City: Business District

After firing at Jing Justice noticed another sniper on the battlefield, he seemed to be searching for her. She aimed to take care of him, just then Empress gave her orders, silently she switched her aim towards the bodyguards, noticing Temperance already on trying to get them off, she gave 5 quick half-assed shots at them to harass them, she tried to aim for the heart, though she likely missed vital organs.

Quietly the sniper sighed, not wanting anything to do with Empress's ex-husband melodrama, 5 shots was all the support she was gonna give the major arcana against this, right now it's better to focus on the ones mowing through our minors, if only she could.

She had to take care of that sniper on her tail first. Can't make too many moves with something like that on her. She aimed 2 shots, trying to get him in the stomach. Since he wasn't really far off, it was easy to find him fast.

ON THE ROOF

Jack landed on the rooftop, whistling..Ruth was good. He spun, seeeing a woman aiming at the street. "Hey! Bitch!" He shouted, drawing his chainsaw and charging , dragging his saw against the rooftop.

Vale Business District

The raven faunus searched for the enemy sniper and heard five shots, aimed for the bodyguards to pester them off an ally, but Grigori didn't pay any attention to where they were going, rather, he found the sniper as she aimed for him. Both snipers traded a small amount of bullets, one from him, two from her.

He aimed for the shoulder to disable her from keeping the weapon stable, while she aimed for the stomach to shake him off. One grazed his right side, painful, but not exactly deadly. The second hit the mark, as he doubled over and clutched the afflicted area. He checked his wound, and found that his aura managed to keep the bullet from shredding through his innards. It still hurt like hell, though, but he tried his best not to voice it out as it would most likely alert others to his presence.

He looked over to Jack as he bum-rushed the sniper in her direction. He saw this as an opportunity to relocate, counter-snipe and, if possible, intercept her if she tries to escape. The moment when he saw the sniper taking a look at Jack, he took off, shouldering the pain all the while.

Beacon Academy

Alexia continued to struggle, even when Noa joined in on discouraging her. Scowling, she attempted to stand once more.

"You don't know that! I have to at least try to do something!"

Battlefield Vale

"Hmmph. Alright, we target Marianne West. If we take her, we remove one of Arcana's top brass and get our best lead in Max at the same time." Alice said, using her power to pluck about five Minor Arcana and chuck them at their Commander.

Empress snarled as she saw her own men used as projectiles, conjuring a wall of ice to protect herself.

Seein her enemy distracted, Emelinda took her chance. Raising her lance, the tip opened up and let loose a bluish stream of hot plasma towards the Arcana commander.

At that moment-!

Not my MOTHER! Mia screamed, seemingly roused by the attack. There was a pulse of energy, and her Semblance manifested, increasing the gravity where Emelinda stood.

With the increased pressure, Emelinda's already fragile legs gave way, and she screamed in pain as she collapsed to her knees.

Marianne, though surprised, was not about to let an oportunity slip by. She raised her hand and threw a fireball at the downed woman.

Elsewhere on the battlefield, Erin gave a small noise of acknowledgement.

Order confirmed, I will do as you ask.

A group of Minor Arcana wearing body armor had surrounded Ruth and charged at her, swords drawn.

As for Geki, gunshots began raining towards him....

The Water Zone

The Grimm eyed Alfred, moving very slowly. It's pudgy body inched towards the knight, snorting all the while.

Then-!

A powerful leap. It jumped towards Al, intending to crush him flat.

Vale Business District

Ruth watched Jack land on the building and dispelled her Aura. She then turned her attention back to the fight, only to find that while her attention was fixated on making sure her teammate landed safely, the enemy had surrounded her. "Oh, what!? You guys really think you can take me on!?" Ruth shouted at them, hoping her confidence would give them pause.

...It didn't. The Minor Arcana soldiers charged at Ruth, swords drawn. Thinking fast she slammed a wind dust cartridge into her weapon and pulled her secondary trigger as her enemies jumps at her. Suddenly, a mini tornado formed around her bat. She swung her bat in a wide arc, just as she was about to be riddled with blades. A huge gust of wind forced the Minor Arcana back, sending them flying several yards away, and buying Ruth precious time.

"Hey, if anyone could lend me a hand, that would be great!" Ruth cried out to anyone who was nearby.

"All y'all need to do, Mia!" Ayers cheered as he saw Mia crush Emelinda under the weight of her Semblance, then quickly corrected himself. "Er, I mean, agh! Someone help me, I done gotten my arm possessed!" He leaned down to whisper to his "possessed" arm. "Let's git y'all closer to... to yer mom, apparently. Maybe y'all oughta talk." Ayers gripped Hrunting tighter and thrust electricity from his own semblance into the blade and ran across the battlefield, shocking soldiers into submission to try to reach Mia's Momma. Heh.

Business District, Vale

Geki fired off one more explosive round that was intended to maim or scatter the Minor Arcana below. But now his position atop a parking parking lot overlooking the Empress' battle lines was coming under fire.

It was time to regroup, he decided as he folded Momotaro into its usual form as a kanabo.

"SIGL 3 to all points, I'm regrouping," he buzzed over the comms as he made his way for the stairwell, head low and using the cars as cover. "Anyone find that shooter?"

Camp

"Every one else has already partnered off?", Imuka asked tryign her best not to think about the second comment Ai had made when the the trio finaly found there way to Pius, she went to speak up, but then decided to let one of the others ask him first.

Battlefield

Slashing Mors down across another Minor Arcana's torso and doing his best to avoid killing the poor bastard, Glen took a brief moment to respond to Erin before moving onto his next objective It's nae an order really, more o' a request. I dinnae care for orderin' people about, does nae sit well wi' me

Picking up on Geki's question as he continued to fight his way through the horde, Glen took a moment to drop an Arcana with a Highland Fury enhanced straight jab to the face before responding "Point me towards them an' I'll take care o' whoever it is. Want them dead or alive?"

Water Zone:Intense Wrestling With Al

As the Grimm charged Al made its move, he spread his arms wide, intending to catch the monster before it crushed him.

Should he succeed he'll hold the monster on the ground, his grip on it tight and strong, even for a gigantic Grimm it would be hard to escape this.

Vale City Rooftops

Justice took the hit to the shoulder, it grazed her though it didn't harm her badly and it barely seemed to affect her performance, her Aura was already starting to work on healing it. Though it would take a minute or two before fully healing.

Immediately afterwards though, someone landed on her roof, giving his position by yelling at her, she quickly stood up along with her rifle, her armored figure fully in his sight (the one furthest to the right)◊.

If Jack would look at the rifle mid charge, he'd notice it was outfitted with a blade like a bayonet, making it useable as a spear for close-range combat. She tried to block his charge with the blade, as Jack might expect from a Major Arcana she was quite strong. She tried to push him back away from her, should she succeed, she'd take the opportunity and jump off from there to another rooftop, from there downwards to a different floor in the building before disappearing from everyone's sight although she shouldn't be very far before Jack gives chase. Quickly she activated her communication device with the troops.

"This is Justice to all minors in the Vale Business Sect. There's a sniper on my tail, up on the rooftops. Someone harass him, he's trying to reposition."

In that moment Grigori would feel a big gust in his area appear and disappear faster than he can blink, almost like a tiny supersonic jet just left the area above him.

She waited for the reckless hunter to try and come face her again, putting her sniper in its harness, she unsheathed her two scimitars from their scabbard, ready to fight back from inside the building.

Novus 7, 9 AM: Campground

"Well, I mean..." Ai peered around. "Not everybody. But you wouldn't be up for sharing a tent with a guy, would you?"

Ai shrugged.

"But there's enough tents to claim one all for yourself. I'm gonna go claim the best spot before somebody else does."

Novus 7, 1 PM: Campground

"C'mon, Pius. Where's the bantz?" Ai said.

Ai took one yoyo from its leg holster and toyed with it on its string.

"Well, I was gonna suggest we go to the wasteland or water zone..." she said. "I mean, there's always gotta be something scary and big near the water. Probably up the mountain, too, but that involves climbing."

She looked at both Imuka and Pius.

"What d'you two think?"

ROOFTOPS

Jack grinned, Justice's strength only caused the chainsaw to carve through the blade that much quicker, he managed to nick the gun itself when she jumped back, causing his saw to smash into the roof.

"So, which one are you?" He asked as he pulled his saw out of the roof, watching her draw her swords. He smiled, extending Schizotic Executioner inot his halberd form.

Hope

"Like lying down. Lying down and resting is nice." Hope grunted, gently but firmly pushing down on Alexia. She glanced briefly at Noa, then went back to the princess. "You're a stubborn mule, you know that?"

Damnit, why now of all times?

Thinking fast, all Steiner could do was throwing himself in the way of Empress' attack, hissing when the ball struck him. His Aura tanked accordingly, but he was still able to move fast enough. With a grunt he picked Emelinda up and backed behind the lines of security to put her in a place out of Empress' sight, but not too far away to not lose her.

At the same time, he was furious, one of the few occassions to get such a reaction out of him. Those Beacon brats had some balls to strike at Miss Alexandros, and now at that. "Steiner to Vale." He addressed Alice via the com. "Prod your Beacon attack dogs towards the terrorists, not us."

"Condor to SIGL 3. One of yours is engaging the enemy sniper." He, meanwhile, had another business to attend to.

It seemed some of the Beaconers were less cooperative than others. Ayers Wulfen. Controversial, for lack of a better word. Didn't seem like the attack was accidental either.

Well, here was hoping this proves a good warning. A javelin-sized arrow was let loose, the projectile etching right into that possesed arm. With that done he changed focus to Empress and Temperance, firing an arrow after an arrow. Justice's earlier shots slowed him down a bit, but he was still putting out a steady stream of pointy death Arcana's way.

Vale Business District

Grigori felt a large, but momentary gust of wind assaulting the area. He stumbled from the burst, but stood on a knee. He saw his compatriot hound her down and bust through the roof with his saw. He looked at the commotion for a moment until he turned his attention to some Minor Arcana trying to shake him off her tail. He might as well entertain them for a while, at least, until the sniper problem comes back. He leaped from one roof to another, but not before throwing a few pot shots at the general direction of the Major Arcana's general direction, taking care to avoid hitting Jack with one. He turned to the approaching Minor Arcana, switched Squall to its Polearm form and pointed the blade to them.

Ayers hit the ground hard and rolled with the impact of the arrow in his arm. Nothing he couldn't handle, though, and he quickly recovered back into jogging towards Empress. He wasn't going to let them know they'd done anything.

"Ayyyy, thanks! I needed new gear!" Ayers cracked a smile and gave a thumbs up straight to the archer, then dropped his crumbling ice shield and yanked out the javelin to dual-wield. He waved the arm at her. "HEEYYYYY!" He yelled out towards her, "GOT SOMEONE WHO WANTS TA TALK! IT'S IMPORTANT!"

Water Zone

Yun watched Al prepare to catch and wrestle the Grimm before drawing Skyfire in sabre mode. "You're sure you got this, Al." He remarked, preparing to close in on the Grimm. If Alfred successfully caught it, he would slash at the exposed underside. Otherwise, Yun would try and use his Aura Burst to knock the Grimm off of his companion.

Wasteland District

"Thaaaaaaaaaat didn't sound good." Remus said calmly as he started to draw one of his arrows back. "Any idea what it could be Lucas?"

Vale

Medus grinned as he saw the ice wall go up. "Big mistake. Oh well, guess we can't all be perfect." He stated before shifting Nightshaker to guitar form and unleashing a blast of sound at the ice which caused the wall to shatter and explode in towards the Empress.

Stuck on Campus.

...So the air-head had missed the call that goons were out and about in Vale. That didn't bug him so much. Surely there'd still be people around who hadn't gotten dragged off to that announcement...thing. Or run off to pick fights.

Although tracking people down wasn't exactly easy with his attempts to send messages over the Scrolls being a whole jumbled mess of gibberish and being a klutz trying to type in the proper words asking what was going on. Of course, with that Noa guy walking by earlier...

...Wonder what's up.

Casually hovering above the ground and gliding on the breeze, he followed along to see what antics were going on.

Earlier with Imuka and Ai

"Personally, I suggest we hunt around the base of the mountain," Pius replied, closing Dies Irae and picking it up in suitcase form. "We'll have no competition there, and we don't truly have to dedicate time climbing the mountain if we can bring Grimm down to us."

Wasteland Hunt

Something rather large was definitely moving beneath them, jutting up the earth above it as it led away from the quartet of Huntsmen in training. And with distance the rumbling began to fade, but leaving a trail for the four to chase.

Suddenly, a patch of land in the distance literally exploded before them, and clumps of magma were flying their way towards them. Whatever this thing was, it was definitely a rare Grimm, and it seemed to have the advantage until it was taken out of the ground.
