"Aw, nice, more weapon shipments." Ayers grinned and pulled his Scroll out. "I got some robbers seven digits away, y'all want me to let'em know, git some goons to steal the shit from'em once we're done? Problem might be us provin' the manifests or other evidence we got wuz real, but it'd be just as easy fer him to destroy it after we git the evidence as it'd be fer Xiong to steal'em."

She was at the end of her tether.

"Epsilon it is." She grunted, outright ignoring Ayers' mention of his less-than-stellar contact with the underworld. "Best to pay a visit to that bugger now and then, and if we can grab a couple of Arcanas for questioning, all the better."

Imuka nodded in agreement with hope, her desire to visit epsilon being multi pronged, of course it would be nice to visit and help him, she does kinda sympathize with him after all, and beyond that, this would be a good way to keep one of the people calling for Max's murder far away from him.

OZPINS OFFICE

Jack remained quiet, glancing at Remus. He just wanted to feel his fingers on Devils neck, but he followed his leader.

Not So Brief Briefing

Al stared at the events happening in the briefing, quietly questioning how this kingdom gets anything done when briefings tend to get so ridiculously long and out of subject. As usual for him, he was calm besides Mia's little power, but it didn't really grab him, so he wasn't visibly shaken by it. For most of this meeting he was only listening, as he tends to do. He looked at Alice and at the queen, the knight's posture was professional and his tone was serious. He knew very well who he was addressing.

"I'm going where Lexi's going, I'm her guard after all, it's my duty"

Falken sighed, more stuff that he'd sorta missed by being late to the Academy was flying over his head at the green-haired faunus leaned back on the chair. Everyone had a fair point as he nodded in agreement with the fox, his team-mate. "Well, ya ain't wrong there. Rest of those Arcana goons 'sides from the ones showin' their respects when we ran into 'em ain't really the compassionate sort. But I'm guessin' meeting up with 'em is outta the question unless, y'know, they were stupid enough to fall for one of us bein' a recruit or somethin' like that."

Of course, with Ayers speaking up, he just went slightly pale. "...Not necessarily. Ya ain't gonna get a confession outta him if you kill the guy. I mean, sure, kinda deserves worse, but there's gotta be some way to make him talk, some sorta proof he's keepin' unde-"

The air-head was cut off the moment Medus shouted. A sudden outburst taking him by surprised caused his chair to fall backwards and send him crashing to the ground, looking rather silly. "...Ow, ow, ow. Weren't expectin' ya to do somethin' like that."

Grumbling as he picked himself up and everyone looking tense, Falken rubbed his neck. "...but, yeah, I know he's horrid, but killin' him without evidence means Beacon's gonna be in a lotta trouble. Didn't ya say he had a lot of connections? Doin' anything drastic...well, y'know, they're gonna get the news to the public dependin' on how many people he's got in his pocket."

...Although it was probably a bit too late to throw out his opinion as the mission were already being given out and mulled it over.

"Arright, we lay it on the table, then we kill'im." Ayers said, nodding to both Falken and Medus in turn. "I'm a private citizen, I ain't got no official ties to Beacon, and if'n I kill'im they'll justify it as bein' a hit from Xiong 'fore they pin anything on Beacon, way I sees it."

Grigori wondered if this was a good idea to mention his connection to the Black Talon, if it would help them in one of their missions. He heard Ayers' talk about his connections to a group of thieves, and said to him, "I know a few friends who might give your robbers backup. Assuming that the shipment's headed for Atlas."

"Your Majesty, I humbly request that you bonk both of these idiots' heads so that they stop trying to get in trouble with the law." Hope grunted, watching Ayers and Grigori be all enthusiastic about an actual armed robbery.

"And going back on the topic of shipment, we can't just drop down on them like it was our sole task there." The gray-hair tapped her wheelchair impatiently, urging to actually figure out a logical plan that wouldn't get them all in trouble.

"GUYS!"

The shouter was Jack looking extremely pissed off, "Can we stop bitching around like we're fucking royalty and actual go do this shit already? We'll kick their asses and then we can decide to kill them, okay!?!"

While this conversation was going on, Alice was rubbing her forehead. It seemed that the elder princess was fighting back a migraine. Meanwhile, the Queen just looked as neutral as ever.

"We are not actually done yet." Lucretia said evenly. "There is something else. We have planted a spy in Arcana, one of our best VRIA agents, Natalia Crimson, has joined as a low-ranking footsoldier. It seems that the reason that the terrorists have stolen the Aura Sphere from The Golden is because that they are building something with it. A weapon, that can apparently "change the face of Remnant". The first testing of this weapon will be on the Eleventh."

She let that sink in for a moment.

"We mean to destroy this Weapon before it gets a chance to fire. We will send Knights of Vale, and General Ironwood has generously offered us the service of an Atlas Specialist. If you wish to join this mission as well, the choice is yours."

When the Queen finished, Ozpin spoke for the first time.

"Finally, we also have a problem closer to home. As you all know, we have been having a shortage in active Hunters this year, which is why we've been sending you on missions. There is a situation in the outskirts of the Kingdom. Entire villages are being destroyed, reduced to scorched earth. No survivors. It couod be a massively powerful Grimm...however, I feel that this is not the case."

"Now, you've heard all of what must be done. Please talk among yourselves outside the room and return with your decisions. Dismissed for now."

Ozpin's Office/ Team Discussions:TANG

After Lucretia disclosed to them her final piece of information, Al wondered how the hell Arcana have gone unchallenged for long enough to manage to create a weapon that could "Change the face of Remnant" despite their lack of stealth and their seeming lack of organization, this country at least seems to have some competent groups, and even in corrupted Mnara'e the rich would hire someone by now fearing for their lives. but he did not speak, it was not his place or will to question the queen about her policy and lack of action. Or the aristocracy for that matter.

The knight bowed to the queen and elder princess, gestured for his teammates to come outside the room with him and then walked out calmly.

Once his team was organized and ready he spoke in a clear voice as he stood tall, his eyes trailing from one member of the team to another.

"As you all know, I have a duty to stay with Alexia as her guard. So I'm bound to go with her depending on what she chooses to do, but you all are not forced to do so as well. Noa will lead you should we go in separate ways" Alfred focused his sight on his second in command before he continued to speak. "Noa, keep them alive, that's my only order, and on the side, try to avoid causing disasters. Understood?"

Pius stood with his team as the elevator descended, deep in thought. Four missions lay before them, and they could only choose one. "What mission do we take into our own hands...?" He thought aloud. Arcana and Alexandros needed to be stymied in their efforts, for sure. But something felt off about the attacks on those villages. If the Grimm were responsible, Pius wanted them destroyed.

Which is worse if left alone long enough...? Gah, there doesn't seem to be a right answer for this...

As everyone left the office, Rheia gathered up with her team.

"Wow. That's a lot of shit to dump on us all at once, huh? Well... Remus, you're team leader. I think the final decision rests with you, unless you want us all to vote on where we go," she stated. "I've got no preferences."

Elevator

"I say we take the villages." Medus replied. "We have to assume that Alexandros will have taken precautions against us. Especially us, given our connections to the royal family. As for the Arcana...well, really I'm only worried about The World. Besides, stopping villages from being destroyed is kinda why I signed up, and I'm especially worried given that if it was just Grimm attacks there would be survivors fleeing to the city. Not to mention the fact that We have a lot of Hunters patrolling the territory nearby the kingdom. They should have been able to stop any Grimm attacks, or at last send reports. Something big is happening and it's happening right on our doorstep."

Elevator

With a grunt, Hope started tapping on the wheelchair again. "Feel like we should go and check on Epsilon." She muttered to her teammates, glancing at Imuka. "Probably best to check that he's not doing anything funny, and if we can capture or incapacitate a number of Arcanas as well, all the better."

"I also elect for us to investigate the villages." Ieria chimed in as she turned to the other members of her team. "The others can handle themselves, but I am worried about those who have little means to defend themselves."

SLCR

Jack turned to Remus, shrugging. "You know my vote, anything that lets me at Arcana, I'd like to see them try to fight without stupid mental attacks."

Meeting & Movin' Out.

Exhaling and twirling a strand of hair around one of his fingers, the air-head looked a little annoyed at Ayers. "Again, I think ya don't get the fact he'd probably have somethin' up his sleeve if ya did kill 'im." Of course, with the Queen speaking up and saying a spy was already in Arcana, he sort of beamed.

"Heh, guess I was sorta on the mark with the suggestion of havin' someone infiltrate that Arcana gang." ...The penny dropped as he heard the rest of the other missions and 'issues'. "...seriously? If it ain't Grimm wipin' villages out, then...?"

Of course, by the time he'd spoken up, everyone was already parting ways as he scrambled out of the room and raced after his team. For someone who was usually fast, he seemed to be behind and fairly slow today.

"H-Hey, wait up...!"

Thank Gaia Carol took that Alexandros job, Lucas thought as his teammates tried to figure out what to do. If even Remus is advocating his execution, we need to be as far away from it as possible.

"I also think we should try and take the Arcana job," Lucas said. "The sooner we take out that machine, the better."

"I can do either of'em." Ayers said. "I'm partial to the villages cuz a hwut happened to me, but Arcana might be a little bigger'n just me. Feels a little selfish to vote fer the villages, y'know?"

Office/TANG Discussion

Why the hell did the Arcana get so strong? It was utterly ridiculous, and yet she figured it was just about as fair as she expected it to be. That was to say, not at least. Time to equalize the planet, one broken skull at a time.

Following behind Al with her rough hands on the lapels of her jacket, she swaggered along with her team until their leader suddenly spoke up. Oh, great. So their strategist had to go and 'keep the princess safe'. Yeah, this was going to be rough.

"Fuckin' whipped ass punk. Never shoulda let ya be tha brains..." Noa cursed, adjusting her hat angrily. "Fine. Ah'll listen. But ya better get yer head outta yer ass 'n yer dick outta Lexi. This ain't no time ta think 'bout no grabass. Ya supposed ta be tha thinkin' one fer us. Dust fuckin' take it."

She seemed like she wanted to spew another storm of rage-filled invective, but she clamped down on it for now.

"Stormer. Grigori. Move on ahead. Bug 'n me got some business ta talk 'bout." She said acidly, telling them to beat it with a simple shift of her head.

Grigori nodded to Noa, "Let us know when you iron it out." He motioned Stormer to walk outside.

Arcana? Epsilon? Villages being wiped without a trace? This is going to be a long debate.

Alexia was at war with herself. She desperately wanted to be in all the missions to help her friends. But there was only one of her.

A choice had to be made. She breathed deeply to calm herself and listened to the others speak. After a long moment, the princess made her decision.

"I agree with Ieria. Max and Arcana are threats...but they're something to fight against. The villages need our help. There are innocents in danger."

That's right. Protecting the people of Vale should always be first priority.

And then Alfred and Noa spoke, and Alexia found herself frowning.

"Absolutely not, Alfred. You are not going to abandon your team because of me! Noa is right! You are their leader and they need you!"

On her part, Hope knew she couldn't protect the people well-enough.

Not after Dreamshade.

"We can't all go to the villages, and considering that Epsilon tried to kill people we personally know and love, I say that monitoring him for a moment would be prudent." She replied quietly, looking at Ayers. He was there with her, he knew how badly it went.

"Plus if we can downsize Arcana a bit, all the better."
