Oh, that's bad. Being made of metal and controlling it are not the same thing. Shouldn't be hard to find a replacement, but better make it pretty damn good. Magneto or something from Avatar/Korra wound be goood. I won't claim this too be a good illustration of trope by any means, but I'm sharing it anyway because it's awesome. [1]

We could just get a picture of Gajeel using his Metal dragon abilities to shoot projectiles, as he's often done.
I can see metal allright in the current; both the texture and the colour are a bluish hue that I frequently see on metals in animated media, so Keep Until Better Image Suggested.

Metal is nearly always understood in animation to be silver/gray in color/quality. The current image at least looks like metal because of it.
