I dunno. I feel like playing off Mxy as a Darker and Edgier omnipotent serial killer kind of defeats of the point of using him in the first place.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Or Mxy could put her in a Wanted style box, she makes a heroic sacrifice and resets the game.

"Show us the Galaxy Warp."Why don't they just do Mxyzptlk the way he was done in Superman the Animated Series? I thought he was great in that.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.Honestly, that would best.
Ok, who let Light Yagami in here? What was he like in that? I never watched that show.
In Smallville or Superman Animated?
In Smallville, he was just some punk with a voice command power.
In Superman Animated, he was basically a cartoon character. He was godlike, but Superman constantly punked him.

Ok, who let Light Yagami in here?Oh, man, watching that video just made me remember how awesome Superman the Animated Series was. It's a perfect example of how you can have the more serious plotlines and the Silver Age wackiness all in one show.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.the dcau in general was very good at that. BTAS was a serious, mature show but had plenty of levity and occasional camp too.
The way he was in Lois And Clark was a neat way of doing it too, while making him more "serious" of a threat. He was still hammy and had his imp-like powers, but instead of messing with people for his own amusement, he was out for world domination. He messes with Superman because he's the only Earthling that could possibly be a threat, and because he's so confident of his superiority that he believes it's inevitable that Supey will break and give in to him.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. At his core Myx needs to be a trickster character. In canon he is one of the most powerful characters in the DCU and it is only his self-imposed rules that make him vulnerable. Plus, as the STAS episode showed, it pushes Superman into using his intelligence and creativity over his innate superpowers. That's really why Superman (and extended family) is often considered boring, because with all those superpowers the expectation is that he has to use them. Who cares about Superman emulating a Film Noir if he isn't going to fly?
I'll be curious to see if they use any of the New 52 Supergirl characters like Reign or Zor-El/Cyborg-Superman II. I'll also be interested in if Hank Henshaw becomes Cyborg-Superman I or not.
The whole omnipotent trickster thing worked really well on Supernatural, so I don't see why Mxy couldn't work.
It will be Myxy that puts Supergirl int he Arrowverse once CBS decides they *do* want crossovers.
"Awww, feeling lonely with only the blue cheese around in spandex?" *snap*
"You can reply to this Message!"So the pilot leaked. Just finished watching it and it was pretty good. I know we probably can't say to much but has anyone else seen it?

I just saw it. I thought it was really good.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre Adventure...*will bow out until he has acquired it, then*
"You can reply to this Message!"The pilot leaked early? Uh, excuse me, I've gotta go... water my plants.
*throws on pirate hat and runs off singing* A pirate I was meant to be! Trim the sails and roam the sea!

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon. You guys just remember that pilot ratings are pretty important, so if you do pirate and watch it, be sure to at the very least tweet whatever hashtag Supergirl has associated with it while it's actually airing on TV.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I know I watched the Flash pilot early and I still watched it live.
They had some changes between the Flash pilot and the leaked version because it was about five minutes longer in the leaked version so they had to cut some things out on the actual pilot.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureOkay, I just saw it. It was... meh.
Pros:
-The plot seems interesting enough.
-The action scenes are good.
-Kara, Toyman-to-be, Cat Grant, and Jim- Sorry, James are pretty good characters with good actors.
-The episode was fun. It was even more lighthearted than the Flash, and there was no cheesy romance melodrama whatsoever, so that's much appreciated.
Cons:
-The origin story was skimmed over WAY too fast. We'd better get some flashbacks to twelve-year-old Kara's early days on Earth, because right now the show is almost a little TOO lighthearted considering Kara, unlike Superman, was old enough to remember what Krypton was like before it exploded.
-Have you noticed that this is a show called SuperGIRL which is about a GIRL hero who is a WOMAN and FEMALE? No? Well, don't worry, because the show makes sure to mention that fact every two seconds.
-The villain was incredibly boring and uncreative.
-Kara's sister is an utter bitch, and the actresses have no chemistry whatsoever.
-The show was a little bit cheesy. I mean, that's not necessarily a bad thing, but it can sometimes lead to lazy writing, so I can definitely see it becoming a problem as the plot unfolds.
Anyways, overall I'd say this pilot was about as good as the Flash's pilot. The problem is, Flash's plotline turned into a convoluted nonsensical mess to the point that I Rage Quit on watching it, and Flash (melodrama aside) had much better-written characters than Supergirl has so far. If the story starts to get too stupid, I might just have to resign myself to having no good superhero shows to watch until Marvel puts out more Netflix stuff...
And it doesn't help that I just started reading the New 52 Supergirl comics yesterday, which are about a bazillion times better than this show. See, in the New 52 version, Kara's dad actually throws her into the capsule without explaining anything to her, so when she wakes up, Kara's all "AAAAAAGH WHAT'S GOING ON WHERE I AM YOU'RE NOT KAL-EL KAL IS A BABY! RAAAAAAAAAGH!" I just find Kara's New 52 characterization way more interesting.

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.Less of a romcom than the trailer presented, decent pilot and the special effects are pretty good. I think Melissa Benoist did a pretty good job as Kara/Supergirl. Lots of reference to Superman (they mention the name and Man of Steel) and they even have a villain of the week setup for the show. Lumberjack was a generic villain for the setup of the big bad for the season.
Hey, it would be better than the chump Mxy we got in Smallville.
Ok, who let Light Yagami in here?
