I would never have guessed from the Russo brothers' previous work that they would do a good job of Captain America The Winter Soldier, much less the outstanding job that they did. It's a good way to give less well-known people the opportunity to prove themselves.

It's possible the character they think is T-Ray might be Ajax, unless they included T-Ray in subsequent rewrites.
Blind Al was definitely in the script though.

I heard the 2010 script featured Vanessa "Copycat" Carlysle prominently, so maybe that's who she was cast as?

Speaking as someone who read the script back in the day, she was Deadpool's main love interest, but I believe she was a Badass Normal in that version.
Then again, I don't recall the script featuring Blind Al, so maybe they're doing a few changes.
