Funny how this Steel is america-themed rather than Superman-themed.

I was kinda hoping a more detailed costume for Mary Marvel, but she still looks alright. And Green Lantern looks good.

Speaking of Marvel characters does anyone else think the Steel was inspired by Iron Patriot Rhodey?

Twisted

"Geez an scantily clad Harley that is legitimately as psychotic as joker... Thats clearly not Tim venting his frustration with the DC's take on her character at alll."

Bomb

The son of Zod might be more willing to kill then his counterpart... but he isn't as unfeeling as you'd think such a distinction.

Big Lols... Even if she isn't an amazon she's got the whole Female dominance and interplay of sex and violence thing down XD

[up]Well to be fair it's not like he hid what he was trying to do with this Harley Quinn^^' I mean, he flat out told us in an interview.

The funny thing is Paul Dini always seemed much more protective of Harley in the past (Timm wanted to kill her in Batman Beyond Return of the Joker, but Dini pushed for her appearance in The Stinger), and yet he seems to have taken the whole New Harley issue in more stride than Timm did,

I'm surprised no one's made any jokes about this universe's Batman being voiced by the guy who played Dexter (the killer, not the cartoon boy genius).

Pretty much everyone was. Didnt you see where they said Dexter Batman and stuff like that? I thought it was because he kills criminals like he did but it turned out they share voice actors.

And I think I've seen this exact same scene years ago(Im not saying its cliched, Im having severe Deja Vu here). Also, the Guy in the Jack In The Box really failed to impress me. Because he had no blood in him or any visible HE WAS ALIVE ONCE DAMMIT I yawned. I wasnt repulsed by any of the Grim Dark stuff because it was so tame.He looked like a synthetic mannequin so what's the point. About the only thing that got something out of me was Harley's chainsaw breaking and the chain tearing Harley a new one. And that was an OUCH that's GOTTA hurt!

Well, I have enjoyed all of them equally: the dark and brooding of Batman, the tragedy of Superman, and sexy fun of Wonder Woman. I think it is because I am an easy person to please, but I have high expectations for these movies.

Okay, Batman trailer was trying too hard to be edgy. The severed heads was a bit much and the corpse family was almost comical. Corpse in the box was a nice idea, but he wasn't obviously dead enough. Superman trailer had me thinking he made the best choice at every opportunity and wasn't happy about what he had to do. I liked the moment where he completely ignored that bus full of people. Not the classic Superman move, but ultimately the one that left everyone involved much safer. Best of the trailers. Wonder Woman... had a cool sword? And I guess she talked about sex a lot. Honestly, not that interested.

Why does a sixty foot robot need to have boobs?

"the corpse family was almost comical."

True. The question is: was it really accidental? Personally I perceived it like something of Black Comedy, especially with Harley's family picture in the background.

I admit, I find it really ironic that the Batman short seems to have been the least-liked of the three, while Superman (who typically is seen as boring and bland) got the best reception.

Well, it's hardly surprising that changing a bland character would make people more interested.

I hesitate on calling it 'changing Superman' since that's not Clark Kent. True, it's still a superpowered Kryptonian bearing the Superman title, but... not 100% 'changing Superman', more like 'changing the Superman role', if that makes any sense.

Superman isn't really bland; that's just an assumption made by people who didn't actually take time to see what they did with the character. Also, I am pretty sure most fans were initially hostile to this Superman until the short.

Superman is not a bland concept, but a lot of writers write him as bland. Granted, pretty much any superhero in a long standing continuity has been written as bland at some point or another, but Superman is trickier to write than most.

[up]Not much to say about it yet, aside from Trevor being confirmed to be in the movie. Oh, and now I know for sure Batman has super-strength in this universe (I felt like it was still ambiguous in his short).

That's super toughness, not super strength.

[up][up][up]Well I assumed it was still subtle enough to qualify as Maybe Magic, Maybe Mundane. I mean, Joker survived TONS of situations where by all definition he should have died and nobody sees this as a proof he has supernatural powers.
