For future reference, images need to be uploaded to the TVT server to appear on the forums. But yeah, no point in getting worked up over it yet.
I honestly think it's kind of a good thing that they have an ending in mind, as it gives them something to build towards and keeps the series from turning into a Franchise Zombie; I'd much rather it end on a high note. I'm not quite sure it'll hit Gravity Falls level, but that's a really high bar to start with.
Reaction Image RepositoryI at least hope they continue those in-character live vlogs they broadcast on Youtube during and after every premiere.
Guess what?! A TV movie has been confirmed. See the link here because I have no idea how to use the embedding system on here.
"Detecting trace amounts of mental activity. Possibly a dead weasel or a cartoon viewer"A TV movie?
A young Princess Moon Butterfly saying a spell?
Toffee?
Eclipsa?
I'm fucking hyped.
Here's some more info. It airs on July 15th, it's gonna be two hours long, and the rest of the season airs this fall.

And it's actually several episodes combined together into one movie. So...this is basically the first four/eight or so episodes (depending on how you wanna recognize the segments) of the entire third season.

Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Another piece of info came from the convention interview:
-Jackie is NOT a mermaid, and Daron was amused that people would even think that.
OOO Oooooh so that's what's going to kick off the season.
Yes, Jackie being a mermaid should kick off the season!
The secret origin of Jackie's shell!
Her parents or relatives are marine biologists and/or are around a beach a lot and she got it a a present.
DAMMIT MARK, STOP HOTTING HELPY!!A full transcript of the Daron Nefcy interview I've mentioned is now out, with even more details. https://seddm.tumblr.com/post/161322192479/darons-qa-at-creativa-fest
-Daron, Alex Hirsch, and Justin Roiland were planning to do a Rick and Morty, Gravity Falls, and Star crossover where "a set of items" would appear in each show (likely referring to the cup, pen and notepad that got sucked into the portal in Gravity Falls, then got shot out of a portal in Rick and Morty) but they ran out of time to make the Star portion.
-When asked if there would be an actual full crossover she responded "Maybe Gravity Falls, maybe...?"
-Daron loves the shipping the fandom does, but says that it's important to have bad things happen to character's relationships because it would be really boring if "Star and Marco get together and they will be like so happy, the end”.
-While they read lots of fan theories and shipping posts and feedback, they won't change anything because of fan comments/suggestions.
-Jackie is really, really not a mermaid or anything magical. Janna also does not have any magic abilities. They're normal girls.
-Toffee is "a Magneto like villain," his reasons for doing what he's doing are completely justified, he's just going about getting justice the complete wrong way.
-The reason why we didn't see any of Ludo's old henchmonsters in season 2 other than Boo Fly is because they all died when the castle exploded, though maybe a few others managed to escape.
-Daron has no idea what happened to Toffee's finger after Star's tower vanished.
-Daron's favorite episodes are Mewberty, Blood Moon Ball, Storm the Castle, Into the Wand, and Face the Music.

So I'm guessing the theory that Toffee was a revolutionary fighting against Mewni's anti-monster prejudice is pretty much confirmed.
Also, if Alex Hirsch is up for it, then I want a damn crossover between Star and Gravity Falls.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?I think it's funnier that everyone thinks Janna has this mystical background and when push comes to shove, she just reveals she's been studying lock picking and the like to constantly break into Marco's house. Same with Jackie. You need that balancing element, even if it can played for laughs.
Shame that crossover didn't pan out.

Holy shit, so most of Ludo's monster guys died? Lobster Claws died?
3DS FC: 1719-3694-1541That's dark, dude
"We be we baby!"Yeah, I'm guessing that Toffee was fighting against anti-monster prejudice but ended up going too far in the other direction and started targetting innocent Mewmans who didn't actually have anything to do with it or something.

Yeah, this decade's Disney cartoon shows really have gotten darker over the years.

Well THAT'S confirmed. o_o
That's confirmed as well.
Either this is an outright lie and/or they're planning on using it as a plot point but they don't know how yet, but this sounds like foreshadowing to me.
I still like to think that Jackie is a princess. Just not of conventional, nor the magical kind.....

DAMMIT MARK, STOP HOTTING HELPY!!According to the transcript in the link, she actually said "I can't tell you that!"
A crossover with Gravity Falls sounds great. Make it happen, please.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? For some reason, I feel a crossover with Steven Universe would be more appropriate, but, ya know, company rivalry and all that.
DAMMIT MARK, STOP HOTTING HELPY!!I'm pretty sure that Star and Mabel's collective Genki would shatter the multiverse should they ever meet.
This song needs more love.
You don't need to post a meme face. Just stop freaking out about something happening when there's no evidence of it yet.
