The image is pretty good, but the complete illegibility of the speech balloons is an issue.
I don't think it is good. He doesn't seem particularly monstrous.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I get the same feeling, not very monstrous.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThat's what the caption is for. I looked for a good one of Palpatine, but no luck/
CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsIt's not, though. Please read Just A Face And A Caption. Page images are not supposed to be just an example above the example line. The guidelines for work-specific subpages tend to be more relaxed, but you'll notice that most of the CM page images have the subject doing something monstrous. Usually threatening a child.
If they're just saying something monstrous, that better be legible in the image.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Well, speaking of threatening a child, Palpatine◊ from Dark Empire?
CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsThat is a much better page image.

So shall we use 7?
CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsI like 7 though I'd like a better quality version. Caption: Palpatine, baby stealer
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Ah jeez, I read that and the first thing I thought of was Fat Bastard saying "Ah nicked a baebeh!"
I'll vote for 7 if somebody can find a quality upgrade, its a great example, but the image isn't good enough for me to get behind it.
I am not sure if anything there strikes me as monsterish. Someone is annoyed and someone else looks surprised.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanHe's stealing a baby!
If someone could touch up 7...
That image of Palpatine stealing a baby doesn't seem particularly monstrous for me at least, especially for the likes of him. If I wasn't a fan of Star Wars and didn't know about Palpatine, I would find that picture to be unintentionally hilarious. It looks more like an old man harshly telling the baby to shut up than an evil man stealing a baby to do unspeakable things to him (not helped by the fact that by this point of the comic, Palpatine is suffering a Villainous Breakdown). This is Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidious we're talking about. If there should be an image, it should display Palpatine as in control of the situation, doing something terrible, and have sadistic pleasure on face. If someone could get a nice picture of Palpatine electrocuting Luke to death with those aspects displayed clearly, I would go for that. Especially since that part is still canon according to Disney.

Honestly, for me it looks less like he's stealing the baby and more like he's presenting it to C 3 PO. If you showed me that image without context, "He's stealing the baby" wouldn't be the first thing that came to mind.

The image of Durge found HERE◊ Caption: He's saying: "… and today, I'll get to kill four of you [Jedi]. Add that to the Gungans I already murdered, the hostages I'm going to kill later, and all the Naboo who will die tomorrow, and it's a damn good week."
