However, "I don't like the current name" is not a very good reason to change it. It's not saying "suicide is always comedy". It's referring to using suicide as a source of comedy.

Well, the OP does have a point in asking why this is untouched while Rape as Comedy is renamed (although if you disagreed with that action, obviously you'll disagree here).

Rape as Comedy was renamed as a goodwill gesture to Google during The Second Google Incident. Not quite the same thing as what is being proposed here.

I think that Black Comedy Rape also links more to rape's more aggressive aspects, while Suicide as Comedy is more ... 'cheerful'. Suicide as Comedy is not always black comedy in the way rape is portrayed, so I would say the current name is fine.

I want to keep this brief since my laptop's battery is running low.
I don't know about anyone else, but Suicide as Comedy strikes me as distasteful a trope name as Rape As Comedy was back in the day before it became Black Comedy Rape. Suicide is a very spiky issue, and when a suicide is played for laughs, I feel that it is almost always, if not always, black comedy.
So, I thought, maybe we should rename it into Black Comedy Suicide. Or at the very least, have it as a redirect. Does anyone else share my thoughts?
