, I dunno. Was obvious to me. I do like Aika however, at least in that small sample. She kept up the BST a bit without actually taking the violent tenancies to far, which is fairly rare. I wonder why her hair changes color however.

Hair changes colour. It happens. (End frames of both.)
But as I've frequently said, I usually don't like Childhood Friend as a trope, since those character are often too Clingy Jealous Girl and Entitled to Have You, which is a bad combination of tropes for any character supposed to have sympathy. Aika, however, has so far shown to be a good friend, and has good chemistry with him. In particular I enjoyed the little bit about her teasing him with her twintails.

Check out my fanfiction! This got to be the silliest thing I've seen in a long time. But the humor is good and all the characters seem okay so I'll keep watching.
Oh yeah, they have actually pretty good chemistry which is rare for childhood friends. I liked how he absentmindedly played with her twin tails at one point.
Especialy since she doesn't mind it.
Check out my fanfiction! That was probably my favourite scene. He just… start stroking her hair, and apparently didn't even realize he was doing it until she pointed out.
That...was....moelarious.
I thought "innocent twintails" about the girl with short twintails before Souji even said it!
I feel kind of sad that the creepy lizard man died.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Moelarious?
Anyway second episode out.
JENGA. FUCKING INTENSE.
Welding wood. Hardcore.
I wonder what happens if you put black ribbons on Tailred instead of white.
Twirl (can't remember how her name is supposed to be actually spelled) has FANTASTIC chemistry with the mom.
Still lacking in BGM.
I lol'd hard at how easily the turtle got beat.
GASP, TWIRL MAY BE DOUBLE AGENT?
And we get Tailblue next episode! Woo!
I kind of wonder if the villains will ever be able to pose an actual threat combat-wise.

MMORPGs are serious business. So it looks like Twirl is very, very bi. Good to know.
Also, the council's recommendations for dealing with Tailred were absolutely hilarious.
EDIT: Souji has the best mom. EVER.

I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialSo elemenial is basically otaku power. And Ultimaguli are just cosmic Otaku/perverts. And love of Twin-tails is the greatest force in the universe.
"You may think this sounds silly..." That's understatement Twoearle.
Speaking of Twoearle, she's amazing and my favorite character already. She's hilarious and resolute and she has it for Soji. Lucky him.
Soji also got the best mom. No wonder she gets on so well with Twoearle.
Heh, it seems Soji will have bigger problems with his fans that enemies.
The way how the aliens are contradictory in their beliefs and actual actions reflects on otaku too.
MMORPGs are serious business.Twoearle and mom interactions were the best part of the episode. When Twoearle corrected mother that she's not unprincipled and is only after Soji's virginity I lost it.
So this show is actually a critical analysis of otaku culture? Deep.
Well, Souji's mom is absolutely demonic.
The rest of the episode was good. I liked the jenga match, the Tail Red love school assembly, and the weird video game noises that happened when Twirl was building the secret base.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.The part with the dictionary was far too funny for how subdued it was.
MMORPGs are serious business. When Souji's mom came into the room and sat down...I got this strange feeling that Twoearle(?) and Souji's mom might just have the exact same personality.
Man, I really like that ED. The OP though...

So who do you think is actually supposed to be the Love Interest, Aika or Twoearle?
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialCripes that Jenga match. Too bad for Turtle Guildy though.XD
And oh my, did you HEAR the kaijin talk? One of them was definitely Nobuyuki Hiyama, and I think Fox Guildy's familiar too...

My money's on Tail Red.
Souji will fall in love with himself.
Hard to tell at this point. I feel that this love triangle will be unresolved by the end.
Episode 2. In which there's a long and intense battle between the forces of Evil and the greater good of humanity.
Nice sight to wake up to. Not that that falls within his preferences. For once.
"She took the hint." Good interpretation of the events. Probably going to go with Aika's interpretation, though.
Those villains are hilariously... I'm going to go with "strange".
Also, rest in peace, Lizard Guildy.
Aika's reactions are great.
First, the bring up ridiculous ideas of how to defeat her, and then the leader can't decide which is best... This is awesomely stupid.
I can't express how refreshing it is to see her hitting the girl, as in the one actually doing something, rather than the guy. Not that that kind of aggression is proper in the first place, but at least it's directed in the right direction. And for all her violence, she actually does seem to be in line with what Soji thinks, only he's often too flustered to act on it.
Good reason why he turns into a twintailed girl. It's her preference too.
So it's sort of liking to eat cake. If you eat the cake, you won't have any cake left, but if you don't eat it, you can't enjoy it.
Can't be the most epic Jenga I've seen, but it's probably up there.
Honestly, Twirl's jokes are rather funny in how stupid they are. Even if Aika disagrees. The Keep Out line was a nice touch. Also, "Twirl" is a good nickame for her. Thanks for that.
Again, I'm going to go with Aika. That mother is a little bit out there.
Aika is smart. She was wondering the same thing I was wondering. Some things just didn't add up.
Prez is... well, like most other people in this series.
And in the next episode, we have a pair of twintails.
As for the love interest, I don't really care who it becomes, since so far all major characters are awesome. I think I'll go with Aika, since I never root for the Childhood Friend otherwise. She seems to actually care about him more than the others (mother may or may not be included), who seem to be more shallowly infatuated.
Check out my fanfiction!on another note I wonder if she sacrificed her twintail power before the aliens could take it to make the tail gear to begin with
I think the most epic jenga i've seen was in that one zombie anime with the hellscythe girl

MMORPGs are serious business.Even if Twirl has no twintail attribute, Souji can still make her hair up into twintails. It's not like it's become plastered to her head. She'd just never think of styling it like that herself.
Also, when all else fails, BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOBS!
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialWOAH DUDE WOAH HOLD UP
THE TRUE ESSENCE OF TWINTAILS
IS NOT SOMETHING SO SHALLOW
(I mean they spent a pretty decent amount of time explaining how the primary threat in this show is people's love of their own twintails being taken away from them)
MMORPGs are serious business.Yeah but having your love of twintails taken away from you means you can't enjoy them. As long as Souji still has his, it don't matter if Twirl's an empty sad-sack with no love for twintails on the inside.
That being said, I really don't mind Twirl or Aika winning, they're both great.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serial(For the record, I'm including Prez in the romance race. We've not seen much of her, but I've got a sneaking suspicion she may actually be more relevant later on. I could be wrong, of course.)

Hint: I like to boke.
