On my wave, passing oooooooonNo.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Just another placeholder for a likely shittier tweencom down the line. Nothing else, IMHO.
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.Welp, the series preview is today, and the fact that Boyster was adopted by a biracial family/mixed couple gets +1 point from me.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceEp 1 review:
So, the origin of Boyster being alive is that toxic wadte was pored into the ocean he was living in. So it's like reverse Captain Planet, kind of.
Pros: Well, it's better than Johnny Test.
Cons: The art style is 100% Frenchy. I think that's one of it's biggest turn-offs. The other is the fact that this IS extremely gross out. I don't think this will last long in the states for now. Hope the rest of it gets better.
Results: Well... it's better than Johnny Test.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceFor anything from France, it is. Then again, Code Lyoko is better than mostly any other cartoon nowadays, so...
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceWatched ep 2 today. Is there a trope for Badass Teacher?
Never mind.

Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceI only seen today's episode, but I enjoyed it.
‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’You and I might be the only ones, except I feel like i'm more trudging through it.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceI checked. I guess this show is too new and unknown to actually have videos up. You can check Disney XD's site and see if it's up there.
Edit: Nope. If there are any French tropers who know about this series, do you mind putting up some videos of it on You Tube?

Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceWas this someone's attempt at Shin-chan faces? I'll take it!
Please, Shin Chan looks like someone did some damn effort. This sometimes just hurts to watch.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceSomeone should make a T Vtropes page of Boyster please.

Welp, it's done. Now I just need good tropes to use with it. What are the trope names to Super strech, Unbreakable body, and control over water. I know for sure Shelby is a Flying Brick, but that's it.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceWhat here did you get that Water Bender Trope from? It never have a trope.
I just made that up. But it is noticable in the series and needs a name.
Edit: Thank you. I now get it!

Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceOk, so I cleaned up the page and put indexs on it. What do you all think?
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceWhy did somebody call this series "Dude Bro"?
I did and it's because every episode so far has been about Boyster and Rafik surviving school and hanging out playing games while hiding Boyster's powers. I don't know if that fits or not.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceWell when I think "Dude Bro" I think of those highschool seniors/ college males who are loud obnoxious play Co D and sports games. Basically the Jersey Shore style of interaction.
I've been watching Boyster since it's intentional preview (why XD still calls it a preview as they continue to air new episodes I'll never now) and Boyster's and Rafik's relationship is more like heterosexual life partners, same with Shelby.
Well, the series is coming back, starting with "Love at first sight". I really want to see this succed in the long run, more than Pac-man.

I think there's a reason why I didn't make a thread for this after I made The 7D thread.
Because it looks SO FUGLY!!! But i'm willing to look past the style to check this french-made series out on Disney XD.
The titular character is as weird as they come: He's half boy, half oyster. And somehow, this series is trying to force that into a superpower I guess. I don't know, I really just hope it's more clever and cooler than it looks. So far the commercials make it seem like a Gross-Out Show than something watchable.
