Nibbled a way at it a bit. I think I got ten or so of them.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Some locked pages in:
Ghost wick in Axiom Nexus and Sandboxes. And for some reason, Funny.Random Doom is still listed in the wicks although I've removed the potholes...
The first two ones are archive pages, and IIRC we don't touch those, even in cleanups.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundYeah, numbers of ghost wicks there. Only thing I can think of for these is to cut them (and restore them if they are legit pages).
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe Axiom Nexus is a non-existent page though. Can those be cutlisted?
I was specifically referring to Funny.Random Doom. For Axiom Nexus and Sandbox.Page Restoration Petitions, recreating the page blank and then cutting will have to work.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanDone.
Sandbox.Page Restoration Petitions is a locked page, though.
The ghost wicks have been processed, now only the restoration of Funny.Random Doom should be necessary.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe page was restored. I think the other ghost wick can be left alone. There are no other wicks that need to be changed (that is, without archives and the PRLC), so this is safe to close.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanNice work.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - Fighteer
Naughty Tentacles. The page now goes to The Content Policy and the 5P Circuit. The article (though not directly) caused The Second Google Incident.
But, somehow, the "trope" is not dead. Wick count right now is 177 from just about any kind of article TV Tropes has. This is particularly odd since Naughty Tentacles is on the Permanent Red Link Club.
Here's an attempt to clean up the wicks. I went to Ask The Tropers, which led me here.
