The Kingdom is a trope page. Usually, one sticks a disambiguation at the page top (or the bottom of the description) in italics with these.
Also, there is discussion in the The Republic TRS thread about tropes like The Kingdom and The Empire being used literally, so you might see some move there.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynmanokay, that helps, thanks.
(Can you direct me to the place in the forums where I whine that Kingdom (as opposed to THE Kingdom) also needs disambiguation?)
Since that disambiguation stretches the article so far down the page, should it be put in a folder titled "Disambiguation" or "The Kingdom (disambiguation)"?
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they pretty~kerani: That disambiguation is far too long. Also, when adding disambigs on trope pages, we prefer to limit them to exact titles only, not wordstrings.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanOkay. I was afraid that was going to happen. Can someone point me to a disambiguation for a trope page plus works that is not on a trope page?
We don't really use that kind of disambig.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSeems like the disambig page exists now so morguing
Macron's notes
The Kingdom currently references a trope, a comic book, a literature/RPG collaboration, a film, and a translated title of a tv series, none of which are related to each other.
I think Main. The Kingdom should be a disambiguation page with potholes leading to:
- the trope renamed Main. The Good Kingdom (bad or evil kingdoms are already treated as adversions in the trope examples) —I'm not married to this new trope name. Also I don't fancy namespacing 420-ish wicks. But I think that given the amount of competing titles, a rename would be best.
- the dc comicbook renamed Comicbook. The Kingdom(DC) (Unless Comicbook.Kingdom Come, Literature.Kingdom Come and Comicbook. The Kingdom are all enough to count as a francise?)
- the film renamed Film.The Kingdom(2007)
- the literature/webpage be renamed Roleplay.Kingdom (Note one-word title, as the work uses)(and the page updated with the new website, and to reflect the RPG nature (vs literature))
- the series entry be cutlisted due to a)no inbound links under that name and b)no current wicks with that name.
Thoughts, suggestions, brickbats, all accepted. (Okay, not the brickbats. Or the tomatoes.) If this is in the wrong place, mea culpa, please advise and I will move it.
