Previews for Please Don't Tell My Parents I Have A Nemesis are up. Chapter 1, chapter 2, chapter 3, and chapters 4, 5, and 6. However, I haven't been able to get any of the links to work. I just figured someone else might have more luck than I do. If you do, please share.
In other news, he wrote an article on supervillains and law enforcement.
Quote from January 11th post
Curiosity Quills has put out their call for beta readers and Please Don't Tell My Parents I Have A Nemesis is on the list. I have requested it.
And... finished. My God, that ending... a lot of loose threads were tied up and then that ending. I can't say any more because I don't want to accidentally spoil anyone who habitually has spoilers off.
And trope page: Please Don't Tell My Parents I Have a Nemesis

Are you sure it comes out tomorrow? I'm not seeing it on Amazon.
Also, don't forget, do not add tropes to the character page or trope pages until it's officially out.
Oh wow really? That soon?
I only got around to reading the Team Tiny spin off a month or so ago. And I loved it.
But I'm still hyped for more Penny.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobAh. I was unaware that one couldn't add from advance copies. Am I better off editing (or commenting) them out, or just letting them ride through tomorrow?
Comment them out. Especially since I'm not completely sure this is going to be published tomorrow. I'm not finding it anywhere online; Amazon usually has a page for these books months in advance.
I'll confirm that. Not even available for Pre-Order from Amazon yet
Edit: Okay, that's weird. I just checked the publisher's page here and they're listing a publication date of 25th of May, 2017.
Edit 2: And the author's blog (here) is saying the 27th of May

And it's up.
Just finished. Stayed up too late reading it. Probably won't be able to sleep now. One reaction.
Holy FU*BLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPP!!!

Yup. The author claims he's been foreshadowing it since the first book. Maybe I should do a reread...
Woweee.
I'll give my proper thoughts later since its past 1 now.
But that was certainly a Thing.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobOut of curiosity, does anyone actually know any kids who read the series? :) Everyone I know who's read it is an adult.

I'm an adult.
I think.
Whelp. That was an ending. I can't imagine how this will be successful, though. Penny's superpower is pure mad science. The Audit won't notice that her daughter suddenly went completely insane? The only way this could work is if Penny inherited her mother's power too (there have been hints of it), and the superpower is able to use it to fool the Audit.
I hope Penny's power doesn't get killed next book, but I think that might be what happens, since it's explicitly the end of Penny's story. I would prefer a Split-Personality Merge.
Finished reading the book yesterday, I am still in awe of the author's chutzpah in assuming that people will buy and read the next book after THAT ending - and at mine in accepting that challenge.
It's not my favourite of the series - those would be books one and three, but it is still a very good book. It's just not one that I am in a hurry to re-read.
Better question. How can we NOT?
New chapter excerpt from the author's blog.
So, Gerty Goat, an ubiquitous crime organization named "Happy Days", Ampexia, Byron Slade, and Supervillain camp. It's promising.

Manuscript for "Please Don't Tell My Parents You Believe Her" is completed, and sent to beta readers, but no word on when it will be published.

Oh neat.
I feel like at least the first half of this is going to be painful to read though.
I kind of hope Penny doesn't lose her power at the end, or at least only loses the super evil parts and keeps a toned down version.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobAnd... still no word. Unfortunately, even the author is apparently uninformed on it. He submitted the book and has heard absolutely nothing for months now.
On the plus side, that link has a story about the early life of Brainy Ack.

Guess what book appeared on Amazon two days ago, and I just bought?
That's right. Das Kapital. Sung by Stephen Fry and Stephen Colbert. In Swahili.
I kid, I kid. Go get it now.
I can tell this is going to be a painful read.
...Which i will start on the weekend after i catch up with a few things first.

I updated the SPIDER TV tropes page a bit. This is a VERY zany book.
