Damn it. Just saw a comic but hesitant about linking it because damn that was some seriously dark humor.
But it's funny.
Oh really when?Link it, please. We can take it.

I thought it was dark at least.◊
Oh really when?... Ouch. For all the hate that I bear towards the Israeli government and its supporters, I still hate the Nazis even more. I mean, Israel didn't go and build a system of death camps everywhere they can where those whom they deem "subhuman" either get worked to death or become victims of horrific "scientific experimentation". (AFAIK, at least.)
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Loved it. Reminds me of another recent one: Shower-Induced PTSD◊
Please, please let's not start that discussion in here.

Flairing up doesn't apply here, hehe.

Secret Signature@11 November: ... Alright, I'll bite. What is the last panel supposed to be saying? That Germans adamantly ignore the occassion out of injured pride, sense of shame, or something?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. From OP: "In Germany, on the other hand, we don't commemorate anything today. But in some regions, mostly in Western and Southern Germany, they celebrate the start of the carnival season today."

The Artifact. Is currently Lazy Hazy.11.11 (at 11.11 am) is traditionally the start of the carnival session in the regions where its important (Dรผsseldorf, Cologne, Mainz, some other places.)
More because of the fact that its a string of 1's. There is usually a remembrance thing about the war by the government, but its not a formal holiday.
Doesn't help that 9.11 is just 2 days before, which has a whole number of significants
The formal end of WW 1 is, at least from where I see it, more of an afterword to the end of the Kaiserreich, for germans.
There has been some talks about formalizing the 9.11 as national holiday, but since its also the anniversary of the Reichskristallnacht people are...less than enthusiastic about that.

"You can reply to this Message!"More ruthless than Canada is usually portrayed as. On a par for how they actually are when they get pissed enough to go to war with someone.
Pulling a Catalonia. To be fair, we couldn't really help the Catalonians when they revolted and we recovered our independence. We were too busy with driving off the remaining Spaniards from the positions of power.

I hope Polandball World War 3 becomes one of those classic comics. It really is amazing.
My favourite parts have got to be Malaysia on the plane, Belgium with a scoreboard, and the Balkans having... well, the Balkans are having quite a normal day, actually, I don't think they're even aware there's a world war going on.
