I'm starting to feel silly for repeatedly claiming Halo 2 Anniversary was not going to happen because it wasn't as prominent as CE and would ultimately just be a waste of 343's time.
In my defense though, who'd have thought they'd excel in making it so damn fantastic?
Borne By StormsEh, I wouldn't really recommend Sunset. It doesn't really look good to me. Fun and wacky, yeah, but not really my cup of tea.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Have you played it? Because speaking from experience, it's one of the very best games to come out this year.
Yeah, I've seen gameplay of it. It just doesn't look like something I'd enjoy.
Let me clarify: I didn't mean to say that it didn't look good, just not something that I think I'd enjoy.

That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Eh. Fair enough. You should see if you can give it a shot somehow, though. It really is something else.
We'll see.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Oh my Jesus I need a goddamn X Box One.
Playthrough of the new "Gravemind", complete with cutscenes.
28 Times Supreme Champion of the World Whosball SeriesOh my God... the Gravemind... It's so beautiful.
God, but that's horrifying.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess the "fans" are freaking out that there were slight changes in the audio and some visuals.

Borne By StormsOn one of the more typically critical forums I've read, they actually seem to be pretty happy about it (though they seem to consider the MCC one of the few 343 products, along with the main H4 story and Bear books, they actually like).

28 Times Supreme Champion of the World Whosball SeriesNew!Gravemind is pretty darn creepy.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite. He doesn't look like Audrey any more, so that's certainly a plus . The mouth is freaky as hell.
Indeed.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Chiefly because it's more detailed in that you can see a MOUTH.
It's a mouth within a mouth.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite. With a mouth inside the mouth inside a mouth
Borne By StormsJust saw the opening cutscene. Good Lord the Gravemind looks disgusting >_<
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.I fail to see how an unreleased work "Needs More Love". Don't we have a rule about things having to actually exist before they get pages here? I know Duke Nukem Forever had a page but you know, that might have set a bad example.

That's why he wants you to have the money. Not so you can buy 14 Cadillacs but so you can help build up the wastesAnother Broken Circle excerpt. And we sort of get an answer for how the Prophets were able to (kind of) fight ground battles with the Elites: orbital support and a lot of re-purposed Sentinels.

28 Times Supreme Champion of the World Whosball SeriesI wonder if this will be a sympathetic Prophet for once.
By the way, where are we going to keep the extra tropes and examples Halo 2 Anniversary is going to introduce? Besides certain updates to the cutscenes and their visuals, we'll have Terminals to catalog as well.
Borne By StormsOn the Pokemon pages for instance we make separate folders for remakes, a similar system would likely work for Halo.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite. We would probably do a mix of the Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 4 pages.
28 Times Supreme Champion of the World Whosball SeriesHalo 2 already has a subdivided trope section for those tropes that apply specifically to the Anniversary version, based off the version done for Halo: Combat Evolved. Terminal videos, nuanced changes to the cutscenes, artistic changes within the game itself, etc. Should work fine, dividing trope lists past 2 or 3 folders like that should be reserved for franchise pages, anything else (character sheets, season-specific tropes) should get its own page.
The making of documentary for H2A is up (also available for anyone who has an X Box One). There's some new material there, including from the new prologue and epilogue scenes involving Locke and Thel. Also, looks like the Heretic Leader will finally get a little more characterization.

That it is. There's some 1080/60 b-roll of Gungoose CTF kicking around somewhere, but damned if I can find it. Looks like a load of fun
Pick up Sunset Overdrive too, you won't regret it.
