Suggestion: Living Ship

Nothing inherently wrong with the current image (which was selected through an earlier IP thread), but the "living" aspect is not really visible.

Someone suggested this◊ image in the Eldritch Starship thread, which I think is a better illustration of this trope.

I do like the suggestion. Others that I thought about were this◊ or this◊. Even if we end up keeping the current, we can have a helluva Image Links page.

1.1 is better than current or 2.1 and 2.2 as it's the most clearly "living".

Mayhaps. Though I feel that it looks alive much the way coral is alive.

As an alternative, what about the Leviathan from Starcraft II? [1]◊

I like both 1.1 and 4.1.

I like 2.1 and 2.2, though they may need some serious cropping because the other stuffs are distracting.

4.1 is good, but I don't think it looks like a 'ship' enough than it is an Eldritch Abomination...

That or a Space Whale-esque alien.

4 looks like a Space Whale. I think the other suggestions would lose too much details and be unclear at wiki size.

It's a hard choice between 12 and 13. I can't say I prefer one or the other. I'll be fine with either.
