Palm on Cheek Pose was added to Stock Poses without the thumbnail image. Here are suggestions, but I'm not too thrilled about them.

I like the Macaulay one. While we're discussing this particular trope, the image on that page needs work...at least two of the pics in the collage have noticeable artifacting.

I see some fogginess issues with the first ... can take both of them really.

The first one looks like it was grabbed from the pic on the trope page, and that's one of them that has the artifacting.

[up] Yes, I did take the first one from the page image. I haven't noticed it's blurry. The Home Alone pic is really better.

Can I post the Home Alone image on Stock Poses, then? I don't think we'll have more suggestions.

I agree that we should run an IP discusssion on Palm on Cheek Pose to replace the artifacted images or find an entirely new picture.

[down] Sure, why not. smile

We don't need a separate thread. We can just rename this one, and have it apply to both.

Yeah, I definitely like the Home Alone one.

4 pictures is not needed to show a pose. One will do. Home Alone will probably be good on Palm on Cheek Pose as well.

Here is the Home Alone one from which I made the thumbnail image: [1].

The Home Alone pic is added. I'll change the thread title to point to Palm on Cheek Pose in a sec.

EDIT: Done. I actually wouldn't mind a collage showing the various ways the gesture is done.

I really like collages for page images and the one on Human Aliens is my favourite. Something in that style would be wonderful.

I was searching images on google and found this page which has quite good pics of this pose: surprised version and day-dreaming. It could be used for the collage.

How's this? I found good-quality versions of the pics in the current.

Yeah, @13 is a big improvement.

Any ideas on a caption beyond the current?

The new collage is enough of a quality improvement that I've gone ahead and swapped it in and edited the caption accordingly. Locking up.
