Operation Wolf. Ya know, the old arcade title from the Eighties/Nineties.
I enjoyed the hell out of that when it was around and spent a lot of money just killing huge amounts of terrorists and drug smugglers.
A gritty PSN or Xbox Live reboot would be fun to see.
Good Call Of Duty.
They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!Hey, the COD games aren't bad, per se, just un-original and in need of some new ideas. Basically it needs more Black Ops 2 and less Ghosts.
I want to see another Timesplitters.
Flyer than an ostrich, moshin' in a tar pit...I'd like more Heretic/Hexen medieval fantasy-type shooters.
Direct all enquiries to Jamie B GoodTried that, and nope. The controls are still as wonky as ever. The only thing that changed is that the music now sounds like crap.
Mache dich, mein Herze, rein...That's weird—I just went back and tried it myself, and it seems to work well for me, strafing and mouse-look included.
Did you check the options menus? It's been some time since I set up Heretic, so I don't recall what options I set, but I do seem to recall that Z Doom provides an impressive array of options to set, including control-related options.
Otherwise, are you using a reasonably recent version of Z Doom?
My Games & WritingRight. I was just too lazy to look for options and stuff
Now that I have changed the controls, it's amazing. I can play Heretic with the controls of TF2! It's a dream come true!
Thanks a bunch
Mache dich, mein Herze, rein...STALKER series!
Give me cute or give me...something?Definitely want another Timesplitters. Timesplitters 2 is still the best shooter I've ever played.
“I was thinking that work is like fertilizer in that I’m glad it exists; I just don’t ever want to get stuck in it."Most of the ones I'd like to see have already been mentioned...Quake, Unreal (though I'd prefer a new single-player one), Heretic/Hexen, Blood, Half-Life, Shogo, Painkiller (an actual completely new one instead of a partial sequel/partial remake like Hell & Damnation was)...
One semi-obscure one I'd like brought back is Chasm: The Rift. It was somewhere in between Doom and Quake in terms of technology - 3D modeled enemies and items rather than sprites, but no true 3D level geometry (floors above floors) - and the level design was sometimes frustrating, but it had neat Puzzle Bosses and you could shoot enemies' limbs off.
Oh, and Blake Stone. Love to see a new one of those.
EDIT: Just had the best idea for a new Shogo: the mecha bits are done in FPS style like the original game, while the on-foot sequences are done as a Visual Novel with branching story paths.

Somehow you know that the time is right.@Midnight Rambler: It's my pleasure—I'm glad that you got it working! Enjoy it—I seem to recall that Heretic with modern controls is a lot of fun. ^_^
My Games & WritingWe need a new Dark Forces Saga game. Those games were basically awesome.
UN JOUR JE SERAI DE RETOUR PRÈS DE TOII knew we got a new entry only two years ago, but I would like to see Twisted Metal become a regular Play Station franchise again. It's just so unique.
Painkiller. Painkiller painkiller painkiller circle strafe run jump shoot bang kill fly
