My HS is 3188
So far mine is 3420. It's bloody hard.
3268. Difficult, but fun.
I don’t even know anymore.4668. Highest block was 512
My high score is 7348. Once or twice I've been screwed over by a 4 tile appearing where I was planning for a 2 to be.
I keep seeing this thread and thinking it's related to TWENTY-SIXTEEN.
Same here.
I thought I was the only one.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseWell rejoice, mind-brother, for you are not alone in your weird mental connections!
Also this game really is addicting.
I've won! Something I found really helpful was to not use one of the directions (eg, never pressing the up key). That way similar values tended to be near each other
Success! Score of 22600.
I just knew there was going to be a thread on this. I love you, Yack Fest.
Anyway, my highscore is 5156, and the highest number I've had on the board is 512.
So far the main rule of playing this seems to be, 'Always think your move through. The moment you become careless, you're doomed.'
Mache dich, mein Herze, rein...I've been playing this all afternoon now. My high score is 13952. I just work everything into a corner and go from there.
Winrar! Got the 2048 block with a high score of 21800.

I have to return some videotapes. My WallMy new HS is 5608
My highscore is 7180
ಠ_ಠGot the 1024 square
ಠ_ಠGot the 512 square a few times now. This game is robbing me of Skyrim time.
This game is robbing me of precious essay time.
New high score: 13648
ಠ_ಠI've been playing this for about 30 minutes, and my High Score is 4872. This is too addicting.
6440
This game is dumb enough to be addictive, and smart enough to make you feel intellectual while playing it. A deadly combination.
It reminds me a bit of Gaussian elimination, AKA "sweeping", from linear algebra class.
Mache dich, mein Herze, rein...7400.
There's a logic to this game, but I'm not a Maths expert.
I've only played it once. I don't remember my score, but it seems pretty easy when you don't know what the heck you're actually doing. XD
ppppppppfeiufiofuiorjfadkfbnjkdflaosigjbkghuiafjkldjnbaghkdMy 11-year-old brother got the 2048 tile. Between that, knowing pi to 50 digits, and being able to solve rubick's cubes in under a minute, I think he's a freak.
I got that impression too... for a while, my best score was from the first time where I pretty much just mashed the keys.
I got 4500-ish once, with a 512 tile but it seems the more systematically I try to play the less it actually works out.
A different shape every step I take A different mind every step of the line
So I found this thing on the net.
A strangely addictive yet very tough puzzle game. The goal is simple, use the arrow keys to shift gravity and merge enough similar blocks so that you gain a block of value 2048. You lose if you can't make any more moves.
I've only beaten this game exactly once, but came close a number of times. It's part Luck-Based Mission because the game may troll you by placing the next block in the spot you don't want it to be.
...eheh
