Be wary of PRAISE THE SUN!

Oh, is that a bad thing? Quite liked the character, seems like she will fun. Can't really suggest anything for you to improve on. Though, if I had to complain it would simply be the appearance, like the picture, just been nice if you could find a chubby cutie, oh well not important.

  • Name: Naari Clawpost
  • Gender: Female
  • Age: 19
  • Race: Feline Beastkin
  • Appearance: Ready to serve!
  • Weapons: As a cook, Naari doesn't really have any weapons to speak of save for perhaps some cutlery that's better suited in the kitchen than on the battlefield. That being said, as a beastkin her physical prowess is often more than enough, strength, endurance, and agility far exceeding that of a normal human being. By becoming more bestial, she can extend these abilities even further.
  • Magic: Naari is not particularly well versed in magic. She knows some water magic, but these abilities aren't extensive - while she can use it in a fight, she can only manipulate a relatively small amount at a time.
  • Personality: Despite being of a "wild race", Naari is actually kinda shy and reserved, quick to get flustered or nervous in a social setting. However, she is a kind girl once she opens up a bit and gets bright eyed over many aspects of life, both big and small, new and old. Like most cats she has a dislike of water and getting wet - in fact, she learned hydromancy partly to avoid such things!
  • Bio: Born the daughter to a chef and a fisherwoman, Naari spent her whole life by the docks, seeing ships set sail and come back from grand adventures to lands unknown. She loved hearing the stories of faraway places while helping out at her father's restaurant and sightings of amazing monsters from the sailors who worked with her mother. Hearing about the expedition to try and solve the Fragment Drought, Naari jumped at the chance to join them - both to go on a journey herself and put the skills her father taught to her as a cook to good use!

Well finally got around to making my character's sign-ups. Feels I might have to edit some problems I didn't notice but here goes!

  • Name: Rahel Tsel
  • Gender: Female
  • Age: 65
  • Race: Human
  • Appearance: Rahel stands at 163 cm (5’4”), processes olive skin and has blue eyes. Time has given Rahel a few wrinkles and whitened her hair, which goes past her neck but not shoulders. Even in old age however, if one looked at Rahel at enough detail they could tell she was in good shape. Not that she’d always try to show it off, as it makes it harder to seem like a harmless old woman. She covers most of her body in a robe hiding light armour and weaponry with a bag on her back carrying the rest of her equipment. When trying to blend in, Rahel slouches forward and pretends that she needs her false waking stick for support.
  • Weapons:
    • For melee combat, Rahel uses a dagger for stealthy kills and a shortsword hidden in a false walking stick for more direct combat.
    • With ranged combat, she throws needles. Harmless on their own but the poison she dips them with greatly increases their lethality.
    • If things get desperate (or in some cases, it’s more convenient), this old lady can make quite good use of improvised weaponry. If that does not help, her ability in unarmed combat is above most humanoids with natural weapons.
  • Magic: Quite proficient with magic, namely Aether to increase her physical ability and sensing targets and dangers alongside Dark magic to not only hide herself from sight but cover her sounds and smell. However, Rahel’s greatest skill in magic would be related to creating magical liquids, particularly potions and poisons. The potions can be used for healing and with the right ingredients, granting abilities necessary for coming jobs while the poisons are good for quicker kills, inflicting pain for things like torture or if requested, inflicting painful deaths. These liquids can be stored and be used by anyone but can take some time for her to prepare (usually doing so at night) and the right equipment setup to do so.
  • Personality: On first glance, she seems to be a kind old woman who supports is quite willing to support younger generation. This is not a facade but it does hide another side of her, a pragmatic and experienced killer. Her time on the job has even given her a dark sense of humour. Rahel isn’t completely cold-hearted however, being loyal to her clan, caring mother and grandmother whenever off-mission and tries to make sure that the target are the only casualties of the mission, those guards are just doing their jobs like she is. She also feels that revenge and racism are things of fools.
  • Bio: Born into a clan of scouts, trackers and assassins, she was taught the deadly arts when she was the right age. However, her clan also believed that assassins must also have another skill set, not only to help with disguises but to make sure their life wasn’t completely focused around death. Rahel chose to indulge in the art of potions. When her first mission began, she was mainly focused on work until she started falling in love with a support member. Eventually, she was pregnant and stayed on the support lines, and was considering of making that a permanent change. However, shortly after having her child, Rahel realised that support didn’t suit her, missions did. The lady continued her role in the front lines, even as a grandmother. One day Rahel caught a sickness that required her to take leave. Although she made a full recovery, it made her realise she didn’t have long for the world, nor has she seen that much of it. Around this time, he clan was starting to worry about the affects the Fragment Draught was causing and decided it was time they should join the investigation of it. Believing this would be her only chance to see the world and worried about her descendants having to deal with the affects, she volunteered to be an investigator. As she left to investigate, she heard about a treasure that could deal with the Fragment Draught and see where it could lead...

Some people say I'm lazy. It's hard to disagree.

don't worry about your character being bad trip

here i come with something that is a bajizillion times more terrible

oh gosh i'm gonna regret this...

So anyway, if what what we are assembling is a pirate crew, everybody knows there's something every pirate crew needs...

  • Name: Corneille “Cranks” des Plumes Colorées
  • Gender: Male
  • Age: 70
  • Race: Parrot Beastkin
  • Appearance: SQUAWK!
  • Weapons: A scimitar that he barely knows how to use.
  • Magic: Nope. Has very basic knowledge of Wind magic, but that's about it.
  • Personality: Corneille is a crusty old parrot, curmudgeonly and absent-minded. He speaks with an Omere accent, which basically means he sounds French (If that's okay with you). His many travels have netted him knowledge of many races, places, and cultures, which has gone over to his head, as he believes he's wiser than everybody around. He loves to tell about his past adventures, but when his stories aren't outright lies, they're greatly embellished to hide the truth: That he's a cringing coward who flees at the first sign of danger and spent a large part of his sailing days inside a birdcage. Ironically, he has a crippling fear of heights.
  • Bio: Corneille was born in a small, secluded Beastkin community, hidden amongst the lush forests of Omere, the smallest of three brothers. Due to his appearance, much more beastlike than humanlike, he was subject to no small amount of ridicule by his peers during his youth. At age 9, he attempted to fly down a large cliff, but, not having quite mastered flight just yet, he fell from a great height, damaging his left wing irreparably and causing his severe acrophobia. He was found lying on the ground by a Wildehavenian explorer, who, apparently mistaking him for a normal, if particularly talkative parrot, took him to Wildehaven, caged him, and attempted to sell him in flea markets. It took two years until someone, a pirate captain, bought Corneille. It is then when Corneille's life of pillaging, plundering, and unrestrained rum drinking started. Or so he likes to say. In reality, he spent most of his time sitting inside his cage, eating birdseed and learning colorful swear words from the pirates. He cycled through many pirate ships and crews, as feuds between pirates often ended with the entire crew dead and him being taken as treasure. He was usually taken out to get some fresh air when the ships were docked, which allowed him to discover all kinds of lands and people. Unfortunately, his adventures were abruptly brought to an end one night, when the ship he was in was suddenly ambushed by a ferocious thunderstorm near the coast of Ordea. Despite the captain's futile attempts to maneuver it, the ship violently crashed into a jagged, rocky cliff and was destroyed, and Corneille was knocked unconscious. When he woke up, he was lying face up on a beach, apparently being the only survivor of the catastrophe. Having lost his left foot on the accident, he vowed to never sail again. He never left Ordea and became an ambulant fruit vendor, entertaining children with his tall tales and earning himself the nickname “Cranks” due to his short temper. But Corneille was 40 when that fateful event took place, and now, after thirty years, they idea of returning to his days of sort-of-piracy had become very enticing for him. It is then when he heard the news: A crew of sailors was being assembled to investigate a cure for the “Fragment Drought”, and, most importantly, look for treasure. It was just what he wanted to hear. Determinedly, he went to grab his old pirate hat and scimitar. The pirate parrot sails again. And he better have luck on his side...

Fair Warning: I'm a newbie to this kind of RPs, so I may need some hand holding.

Fair Warning 2: My prose is awful.

Also, I would like to find a better image for my character since it's kind of misleading and inaccurate.

But I'm terrified of Google Images.

And Pixiv has nothing ._.

Well, this looks mighty cool. Hopefully you don't mind an extra signup.

  • Name: Hangemall Qual Dunkelheit
  • Gender: Female
  • Age: 20
  • Race: Human
  • Appearance: Just switch the skirt for white pants. Is rather tall, standing at 5'10.5''(179 cm).
  • Weapons: Mitleid, the claymore seen on the pic. Made with care, custom-tailored to Hangemall's preferences and beliefs. Made of hardened steel. Is also an owner of a flintlock pistol made specifically for semi-magical use. Knows a lot of grabs, throws and locks although tends to avoid hand-to-hand.
  • Magic: Light/Aether. Has mostly weaponized the former, using a variety of sudden blindings, overwhelming holy attacks and such. She also uses it as an ammo for her flintlock, firing a variety of flares, beams etc. The latter is exclusively self-enhancement for combat purposes. Also knows basics of Fire, able to cure minor wounds with it, make a small fire or burn someone with touch.
  • Personality: Having spent an entire life within walls of her monastery, an outside world for Hangemall is still a completely new thing. This shows best in her painfully noticeable lacking of social skills: if engaged in a conversation, there's a fair chance she'll start stammering, looking away and being all in all nervous. She also tries to avoid crowds. If surrounded, will desperately try to break the circle. Afraid of the darkness. Beneath all these insecurities lies a genuinely good person, albeit the one who often questions herself: should she follow the rules or do what's right? Very religious and self-disciplined, abstaining from all the guilty pleasures. Dislikes demons although it's something she's been taught rather than genuine aversion of hers. Focused and serious when fighting, if possible prioritizes ending the fight ASAP. If the enemy is genuinely evil, she'll show no mercy. Otherwise will prefer to abstain from killing or seriously harming them.
  • Bio: Cold winds of Alaviel often little mercy. Those that are unprepared for such chilling climate are bound to fall into icy hands of Death. A peculiar human infant found on steps of Monastery of Black Wolf narrowly avoided this fate: found by monastery's doorman just before closing the gates for yet another night. The old monk had mercy upon the poor soul and brought her inside. Monastery's abbess took great interest in said child and decided to take her under her wing. Thus began the story of Hangemall Qual Dunkelheit - such was the name the young girl took when leaving the monastery. As it turned out, Black Wolfists were an order of knights dedicated to spread good and eradicate evil through whatever means necessary, training themselves in swordsmanship and magic to combat what they deemed was wicked. This wasn't an easy life, not by any means: from early morning until night Hangemall was training both her body, mind and soul alike. Educated not only in practical, but also theoretical knowledge, young girl's dedication to do good and bring order slowly were sown into her mind. At the same time however she was often doubting herself: what exactly is a good thing to do? What is evil? Is an evil deed done for good still evil? She decided that perhaps it's best to put these questions to a test: to emerge from the monastery and fight for what's right. A story she'd overheard in a tavern about curing the Fragment Drought left her with a clear purpose. Hell-bent on setting an example, Hangemall headed for the ship that gathered ones who wished to find the sacred treasure.

Big Grah
