So there's no interest here? That's a shame 'cause mafia games are my favorite multiplayer games ever.
Its an awesome game!
Just discovered this game.
I have mostly been trying to see where brutal honesty and silence would take me.
The Great Northern Threadkill.Ah, Town of Salem. A game in which I've picked up and experienced plays of pure cunning and guile sticking with me forever, and a game in which I've also repeatedly tried to make sense of a group of collective dullards who seem insistent in their obvious destruction.
When it's not frustrating, it's generally pretty great.
My tactic met mixed results. While sometimes my announcements of what I was playing where met with swift assassination/public trial ( and sometimes ragequit from Mafia teammates who think I am dangerously stupid from taking so much attention), I have also managed to win a flawless Mafia game where I announced from minute 1 that I was the Godfather.
Turns out they thought I was the jester.
The Great Northern Threadkill. After spamming multiple games, I finally did it.
Won a game as jester with the name Obvious Jester.
Bless the paranoid masses.
The Great Northern Threadkill. There should be more of an interest. I'm bumping this.
I am the once and future king.I LOVE THIS GAME I have won over 300 games if anyone wants to play with me my name is Derplord6887

Coriander Hasp, Excrucian Deceiver at your serviceIt really is the worst feeling when the Jester gets to decided whether Good or Evil prevails.
They always seem to pick evil.

I need to get used to the non-Classic roles.
"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." -Thomas EdisonSo I'm kicking this back onto the front page because there's a new expansion out. It's called Town of Salem: The Coven, and it's already making the rounds on Youtube.
I don't play much due to cheaters, quitters and racists.

Oooh~ It's a paid expansion, right?
How is it? I stopped playing a while ago but I recall the main thing people wanted being medium buffs more roles, so I'm curious what all they've added.
Linky. A free to play Mafia-style browser game, currently in open alpha testing. If you've played Starcraft 2 Mafia, or Epic Mafia, you'll know what this is about. (It takes more after SC 2 Mafia than Epic Mafia; the layout of the gui is almost identical, and the flow of the game is similar as well.) Essentially the townies have to figure out who the mafia are before the mafia outnumber the town. There are "power roles" with special abilities to help the town, like sheriffs who can see if one person per night is guilty, or doctors who can protect people from getting killed. (There are also mafia-sided power roles.) The game has just fulfilled its Kickstarter as of this posting, with three days to go.
