...what.
...um.
Anyway, I'm guessing you've never heard of a Love Triangle. Or that, you know, the first partner you meet possibly not being right for you is kinda a major theme of the film.

Dude, no offense, but... I feel you're reading a bit too much into this. I'm willing to bet they made Hans evil because, well, they wanted a truly evil, somewhat remorseless character. Not everything has to belong in some sort of agenda of propaganda.
THE BEES! THE BEES!Well come on, everything is propaganda. Like Shrek, that's propaganda that tries to legitimize big green monsters as people. Or, even worse, Toy Story, which asserts that toys should have civil rights. But the most deadly of all, Cars, which tries to promote the supposed glory of the Porsche Master Race. The horror...the horror...
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Fair points. Although I do find myself annoyed by society's refusal to accept polyamorous relationships as moral, and I do think it would have made the ending more interesting.
The words you're looking for are "polyandry" and "polyandrous." Which is a woman having more than one husband.

http://h0useb0und.tumblr.com/No. Nobody uses such words.
And the movie "needed" a less-lame villain than Weasel Town, so they made Hans evil. He's quite a good actor, which was an interesting point in his characterization. The "if only someone loved you" scene was...chilling?
And it really, really needed to be about sisterly love rather than OT3. So much more heartwarming. Why not just make Anna x Kristoff x Elsa your head canon?
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.@No Name: Given that I never excluded the possibility of them having multiple female lovers, nor said that I cared who she married, the word I'm looking for is very clearly "polyamorous" - loving multiple people.
"polyamorous" is not simply a word that I made up (indeed, I would not have mixed Greek and Latin roots if I did), its a very common word used among people in relationships with multiple partners in Real Life (its distinguished from "open" relationships by the fact that people in polyamorous relationships profess actual love for more than one person, while "open" relationships still imply emotional monogamy).

Wouldn't any movie where a character doesn't end up in a relationship with multiple, accepting romantic partners be considered 'monogamist propaganda' (so the great majority of them really)? It's ridiculous to single out this movie for this supposed sin. And that's all I will say on it.

Ok, I loved this movie for the most part, but this is one thing that just bugs the hell out of me. They made Hans evil because otherwise they would have been stuck in a situation where the heroine was sincerely in love with, and loved by, two different men. If we show that we might *gasp* legitimize polyamory.
And I know the usual response is "we can't expose children to sex like that!"
But that's the same argument that's been used against portraying gay relationships. Acknowledging gay couples is not more "sexual" than acknowledging straight couples, as their relationships are no more inherently sexual, and the same applies to polyamorous couples.
And the sad thing was that the perfect ending was right there. I knew Disney would never have the balls to do it, but the "act of true love" should have been Hans and Kristoff accepting a polyamorous relationship with Anna.
But, that didn't happen. I knew Disney wouldn't do it, but I was at least hoping that they'd be brave enough to let the act of true love be an act of sisterly love (which they did), and cut the movie short before she ever chose, leaving the door open to polyamory at least as Fanon. But, no, we can't have that, so Hans has to be evil...
