I thought it was just the fact they pulled such an extreme contorted expression it screwed up their face. If you mangled your face that much when laughing wouldn't you disfigure something?
As for sandcastles, they have their own sea and are capable of setting fires. Hell a fish is heavily implied to drown in one episode. Is the setup designed to make any sense really?

Well, in "Life of Crime" at least, when they point out how illogical an underwater fire is, it immediately goes out.
But they still have a beach underwater. They have surfing. Bubble Buddy caused a person to drown. So yes, you're still right.
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."Not just that. He caused a fish to drown. In water. That's inside an ocean. They even show lifeguards in one episode, since it happens frequently.

Even though Stephen Hillenburg was a marine biologist he apparently agreed that anything goes in a cartoon!
Then again, maybe it is true to undersea life. Not like I'm an expert on the subject...

"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."and whut
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.In one episode, Sponge Bob's imaginary bubble friend (and yes, It Makes Sense in Context) is asked by a local surfer to look after something he has while he's buried up to his neck in the sand at the beach. While this is happening, the tide starts coming in right next to the surfer...
Later, we find out that the surfer has died, as he's wearing a halo and wings and ascends upward to an angelic choir.

"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."Well then.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here. There really is such a thing as underwater lakes?...

I actually liked seasons 5 and 6 of Powerpuff Girls.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!I've never understood the hate for those... If there was hate.
It contained one of the funniest episodes of the show, "City of Clipsville." (Mojo in a wedding dress saying to the Professor "I have always loved you"... Classic!)
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."I didn't even know people hated seasons 5 and 6 of the Powerpuff Girls. I've always loved the newer seasons. The animation was way better and the characters got more depth.
Those seasons are apparently disliked among PPG fans.
I liked the animation in those seasons more than the first 4 seasons, and the episodes were still good.
Can you name some examples of the character getting more depth?

You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Seasons 5 and 6 weren't as good in terms of storytelling or violence factor, IMHO - still more watchable, entertaining, and memorable (OVERALL) than ANY of Kick Buttowski's best episodes, though!

Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.Who cares what that has to do with ANYTHING. Just my forgettable opinions running wild...
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.Seriously? Breadwinners is worse than Allen Gregory? I'd beg to differ...

I still don't see why everyone hates The Great Divide. I mean, yes, they've explained it to me, but... well, I find papering lies over ethnic strife preferable to ethnic strife itself and it amazes me how many people think the lying is the bigger problem.
Hail Martin Septim!"Seasons 5 and 6 weren't as good in terms of storytelling or violence factor, IMHO - still more watchable, entertaining, and memorable (OVERALL) than ANY of Kick Buttowski's best episodes, though!"
And much more watchable than post-season 3 Family Guy or post-movie Spongebob Squarepants
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!To paraphrase Stewie:
You know, it is so fashionable to take a shot at new Family Guy / Sponge Bob. Look, the fact is, the show is out there every bloody week and they're trying!

"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."Of course it's out every week, there popular money maker. There not trying hard enough.
As far as the PPG goes season 5 was bad but Season 6 was pretty good.

I don't mind the John K-less seasons of Ren & Stimpy. It was cool to see Chris Reccardi and Chris Mitchell's early work in animation before Oh Yeah Cartoons and Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go.
The problem with face freeze's ending is that its doesn't make sense.Krabs said the faces would freeze after 24 hours, yet when Krabs and Squidwards faces freeze,it's only in seconds.Though the rest of the episode is okay, the faces they make are pretty creative.
