Clock is set.
Yeah, I don't see a strong distinction. Seems like The Same But More Specific.

Hop on over to this page and add them. While I agree on the lack of distinction between the two, I actually think this one have a better name & description. Plus the other doesn't seem to have YKTTW despite having more examples, wicks and inbounds.
I somewhat prefer this name as well.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIt's a very old article, especially since it was called Shur Fine Guns once upon a time and then get renamed back in 2011 at the latest, it seems.

Merge the two.

Alright, this has sat idle for another month. I took a look at the two pages and I'm not really seeing how these can be merged. Convenient Misfire is essentially Murphy's Law as it relates to misfires, while Reliably Unreliable Guns is about specific malfunctions, specifically "discharges when dropped/bumped/breathed on/etc." and "if the gun jams, it's useless". The examples on the former trope are fitting for its definition; why should it be cut?
Re-clocking.
Clock's up; locking for inactivity.
Has the same meaning as Reliably Unreliable Guns. Don't see any difference in the descriptions in terms of the meaning. This trope could be redefined as either a Plot Device or something like Deus ex Machina (although I don't like adding another snowclone of that).
