Yeah... I much prefer the current. I don't think ANY familiarity with the earlier scene in Space Balls is necessary for it. "Combing the desert" or "combing the beach" is a very common phrase.
Plus, the EWJ image just isn't clear. Without the caption it just looks like a little house. Doesn't really say missile.

The Spaceballs pic I've never had an problem understanding, it's two mooks combing the beach with a giant comb and I never saw the film before that to know the context. The caption tells us what we need to know too. The Earthworm Jim suggestion I didn't actually understand until I figured out that was a house, it simply isn't a clear enough visual pun as it's drowned out by everything else.

I can see that it's a house, but couldn't tell it was a missile. For all I could tell from the image, it's just a flying house. My vote is to keep the current.

The suggestion is utterly confusing to anyone not familiar with Earthworm Jim, while the current is completely self-explanatory. Since the consensus is to keep the current, I'm gonna go ahead and lock this, but I will add the suggestion to the Image Links page.

I'm suggesting a new image for the Visual Pun article, at present it's a screenshot from Space Balls with them "combing the desert." My suggestion is the following image from Video Game/Earthworm Jim:
Three reasons: - One needs to be less familiar with the movie's previous scene (where the president tells them to comb the desert): before I saw the movie, I was confused what the desert had to do with the pun - A somewhat better pun (YMMV) (i.e. lends a greater smile when you understand it?) - Lends some attention to smaller franchises (Space Balls has a few images around I think? )
