I'm going nay on ugliness reasons alone.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.I thought this would have had a lot more support. The captions are limitless. Like: "This trope being Lampshaded." Or "Wait, its weak point isn't its eye?"

Clearly better than nothing.
That's a very terse description for a trope. As for the suggestion, not for me.
Actually, now that I think about it, this would be better on Cut the Juice.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.I think it's good enough to work on either this or Cut the Juice, pending other suggestions.
The tropes are similar, so we might want something that distinguish them more.
Very hard to see
Does that count as a macro? I think so.
Then just crop out the words, then!
^^ I don't.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I don't care for it anyway, it's like it's following the title but not the trope description. The trope description's shortness still bugs me though, can someone try and extend it?

With what? It describes the trope well enough—if you want it extended, what information do you think is necessary?

The Zelda image would work better on Cut the Juice, so I'd say put it up there. Not sure what we could do for this page.
Reaction Image RepositoryA laconic describes a page well enough, doesn't mean we should make every trope just have the briefest of definitions because it "describes well enough". A terse trope makes me think "this is either a weak excuse for a trope or someone isn't describing it well enough". Meh, content is a concern for elsewhere and if expanding this sorry trope definition is somehow not good then keep it short.

Cut the Juice is about when the power is actually pulled, while Achilles' Power Cord is about the requirement for it, yes? With that in mind, I would take the OP suggestion here.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWhen I made this thread, I thought this trope was Cut the Juice based on the name. So, the OP is better than the one on that.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Achilles' Power Cord is when the cable is a weak point in some way. The cable might give the machine a short range, limit the power (like 110v*10A), be long and get tangled, be cut, pulled to move/disconnect the machine. Cut the Juice doesn't require a cable.
A Mecha that needs to be connected to the 'mains' all the time is Achilles' Power Cord.
Removing/destroying a Power Crystal from a mecha is Cut the Juice, but not Achilles' Power Cord.
Cutting the cable of the first mecha is both Achilles' Power Cord and Cut the Juice.

... Dammit, I want to not like that one but...
That's pretty good, actually.
That is good.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI like @21 as well. And the link's title could work as a caption.
The Legend of Zelda: The Lampshade of no real significance◊
