CW's Flash

I may be late to the party, but I just found out that Wally West is being reintroduced to the New 52.

Does that mean CW has a chance to bring him in? Considering they're going with the old Reverse-Flash and not the new one, they better do that.

There are two Reverse Flashes?

The first one is Eobard Thawne, the second is Hunter Zolomon. Or at least that was the case before the Nu 52. Now it's Daniel West.

Relation to Wally?

The second Professor Zoom was Wally's Arch-Enemy, Daniel West would be Wally's uncle. The first Zoom is more Barry's Archenemy.

I only knew about Thawne due to the Flashpoint Paradox and I think he was in Brave and the Bold too

Understandable. Flashpoint was Thawne's last story before the reboot. I'm not even sure he exists anymore.

I was going to write out the reasoning behind Thawne's deadness, but while I was doing that I realized just how much of a Timey-Wimey Ball it created.

Damn, The Tomorrow people got cancelled.

Have the creators said anything about the "tone" of the Flash series? If they're going to try to turn the Flash into Batman like DC tried with Superman, I'm going to never watch a DC adaptation ever again.

It's been brought up numerous times here that the flash series will be a much lighter tone than Arrow.

Yeah, Arrow more or less works with a Batman-type tone (mostly because Green Arrow basically is Batman as an archer, who goes after corporate corruption), but I don't think Flash would work at all as a super dark and gritty approach. It certainly didn't work with Wonder Woman.

The producers have said that Barry Allen and Oliver Queen are the exact opposite of each other so I think it is safe to say that the tone of the show is going to be lighter in tone than Arrow.

We will get the first trailer of The Flash next Thursday.

Not shocked at the cancellations, Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People were crap. (The Carrie Diaries.....Hey, Sex and the City spinoff, nuff said.)

I did like Starcrossed at first I wasn't sure but the past few episodes have been good.

I stopped watching Tomorrow People after the mid-season finale I don't know why I stopped but I think I missed too many episodes to catch up on.

The costume looks better in the key art then it did in the promotional material. I guess this is how it will look on screen.

Yeah that's exactly the kind of colour I'd hoped the costume would be, here's hoping that's how it looks in the show despite the actual outfit looking more maroon.

They are advertising that they will show the first trailer for the Flash during the finale.

That Super-Speed effect is better than Smallville's; I'll give them that.

Though that probably was a given because this show will have about 14 years of technology on Smallville.

I like the speed effect. They said they wanted it to look exactly like the comics.

I think it matches what I have seen in The Flash comics when he is running at super speed.
