i've been saying this for years, and i'll say it again: Sly Cooper. everything about it—the art style, the characters, the story-could easily be modified into a long-running animated series.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.Duh. It's copying everything that made classic toons like Duck Tales enjoyable. I wouldn't mind seeing a movie about him either.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceDisgaea could use a second shot in my opinion.
For those that haven't had one, Skullgirls.
Banjo-Kazooie.
It's already one interactive cartoon.
Faithful to the original Mario, and make it snappy!
(Base it on the Paper Mario RP Gs, with Mario/Bowser/Peach switching protagonist roles))
I'd love a Paper Mario cartoon
Oh really when?I could see a good Kingdom Hearts series. You could even do things that don't happen like take a character out of there world for a few episodes so you could have Mulan and Aladdin fighting together. Also, for the love of God give Kairi more of a role.
I'd love a Phantom Brave series, but I don't think it will ever happen because it's too obscure.
Disgaea could really use more love as a series. Too bad there hasn't been a new Disgaea game in years.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceWell, there was an anime...
I meant a new series, like for the cast of Disgaea 3 or even a Trinity Universe anime.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceWell...
I've kinda had this idea rattling around in my head of a new Kirby show that was more in line with the games than Kirby Right Back At Ya (even though it was apparently supposed to be an alternate universe to the world in the games) and have stuff like:
- Meta Knight without a cheesy accent. And with his Cape Wings. And maybe voiced by Steve Blum.
- Other characters from the Kirby games like Adeleine and Bandana Dee.
- Sword Knight and Blade Knight not sounding lame and unintelligible respectively.
- King Dedede not sounding so southern.
- Kirby having bright red feet. (Seriously, hasn't anyone noticed how much darker his feet were in the last Kirby show when compared to how they were in the games?)
- Maaayybe have Kirby talk and be voiced by Dee Bradley Baker. Maybe.
And maybe, it could be like how Batman The Brave And The Bold interacted with many aspects of DC Comics and interact with other Nintendo worlds like Kid Icarus or Mario.

@King Kix: There was a new Disgaea game released just last year.
I think going for full blown epic could make for a great Legend of Zelda cartoon.

YES. That sounds amazing. If that was done, maybe it could hep people forget about the crappy old one.
I don’t even know anymore. But it will never make people forget about the shitty CD-I games that are like the devil's creation.
Well I certainly didn't hear about that!
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceIt's a direct sequel to the original.
I remember back when Fusion Fall was in its Prime and the most requested feature was a cartoon series with all the old creators on to help the show and, in the process, give the game more recognition and give it more budget.
Safe to say, that idea is never happening.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.Gotta agree with the Legend of Zelda cartoon. Ocarina of Time would be a cool one to start with. They could even cut it into two seasons using the drawing of the Master Sword as a cliff hanger. Whether Link gets lots of lines or not would be negotiable, but having a mostly silent hero (except for short sentences and wordless sounds like battle cries) would be fun to try. Navi talks enough for the both of them anyway.
Add a dash of Scott Pilgrim (which already has its own videogame too).
Warcraft.
Using original characters of course.
Draw it like Young Justice while one is at it.

I would think to do it the way South Park did their episode, but better.

Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceA CGI Warcraft cartoon?
You do realize that the budget for CGI TV production don't usually allow for detailed hair and cloth simulations.

Pikmin. Srs.
ok boomer
Don't act like you haven't thought about this one before. I mean, since Pac Man And The Ghostly Adventures opened up the floodgates for a new era of video game based toons along with Rabbids invasion and Angry birds toons before them, a lot of great ideas for vid-game animations have been tossed around.(And with Sonic Boom coming out soon, better late than never.) So what game characters or series do you think deserve the Saturday morning treatment? One idea I had was a Mr. Driller anime, since i'm pretty sure (just guessing) the creators of PASWG had a hand in the creation of the game series. Or someone at Namco is just as talented as Mr. Hiroyoshi. IDK.
