It's too soon for Mr. Freeze! Establish your principals first! Penguin, Selina, Riddler, Joker and Ivy are more than enough for one season.
Jesus. At this rate we'll be burning through Mr. Zsasz and KGBeast soon.
I'm a skeptical squirrelI kind of want them to throw in the occasional cameo for a ridiculously minor villain somewhere. Like, show a young criminal named Charles Brown flying a kite or something.
But Freeze isn't exactly minor. He could definitely work, although Gotham is starting to seem a bit crowded.

It really depends on how carefully they toe the line with regards to these cameos. A lot of Batman's Rogues Gallery do have roots into evil and criminal activity long before he ever showed up. It's been acknowledged several times that the costume theme are partially Batman's fault, but he isn't responsible for who they actually became.
Having Victor Fries on the show as a technical consultant for the GCPD in some capacity would be interesting. Possibly an episode has him and his wife learn of her illness and he acquires some medicine illegally to slow the process, which eventually brings him into conflict with Gordon (who lets him off on moral grounds). The Batman Arkham Origins DLC "Cold, Cold Heart" proved that you can mess around with the details of Fries origin and still be just as poignant.
A Stealth Pun occurred to me that does not bode well for Jada Pinkett's character.
Her name is "Fish" Mooney.
The Penguin is her flunkey

Trump delenda estI wonder, will the League of Assassins be embargo'd due to Arrow? We know that Arrow's own writers have been hit with embargoes, so Gotham might not be an exception.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.I don't see them really fitting in, as things stand. The League don't really have anything to do with Gotham. Maybe if they get a bunch of seasons and start running out of ideas. And by that time, Arrow would probably be done with them.
The more I think about this show, the more I wish they'd have just gone with a Gotham Central show. A Batman show without Batman just seems kind of tepid.
I'll still give it a try.

The difference between The Joker and Two-Face is that Two-Face actually had a strong connection to both Bruce and Gordon and aspects of that characterization remain after his turn to villainy. Joker, conversely, is absolutely gone. The 1989 film version is the only take on the character that I can think of where who he was before The Joker, actually has any sort of impact on who he is now.
Really, its too soon for practically *every* villain. Bruce isn't going to be Batman for another 15 years.
Home of CBR Rumbles-in-Exile: rumbles.fr.yuku.comI wonder how they'll cram in R'as al Ghul. Maybe he'll be the inspiration for Ivy's terrorism.

I'm a skeptical squirrelI wonder if they'll even use Ra's, given that he's officially going to be introduced on Arrow. I mean, I suppose that there can be two competing versions of the character, on Live-Action TV, but I'd imagine that the two networks wouldn't particularly enjoy that.
This is a signature. They could use the League but leave Ra's out. I'd prefer they left them both out, personally. They're not a Gothom-City villain.
x6 I suspect that it will take after Gotham Central more than a bit.

Trump delenda estIGN's advance review of the Pilot.
They gave it a 7.0 for the Following reasons:
- + Fun takes on Bullock, Cobblepot, Alfred, and more.
- + Addition of Fish Mooney works.
– Hopefully Gordon ditches his sullen edginess.
– For spoilers-sake, I didn't list all the Batman "pre-villains" present. But there were too many.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureFrom what was said in the review I wonder if Bullock will become a Breakout Character. I love Donal Logue and am a big fan of his work in Vikings, Copper and Sons of Anarchy.

Trump delenda estEmbargoes are freaking dumb
Stand Fast, Stand Strong, Stand TogetherLooking forward to this. The modern noir aspect alone will hold my interest.
Final Fantasy, Foreign Policy, and Bollywood. Helluva combo, that...Netflix purchased exclusive VOD rights to Gotham.
I think if Fox cancels it Netflix will probably keep it alive.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre Adventure<temples fingers> Eeeexcellent.
Final Fantasy, Foreign Policy, and Bollywood. Helluva combo, that...I'm not looking forward to this show at all. :/
Thats good. Anticipation is always a pain. Best to avoid it.
I've been hesitantly interested.

Reinvent?
Why the fuck do you need to reinvent Mr. Freeze, WB? BTAS already did that; do you need to do that again?
Because if you're just copying BTAS, that won't count as reinvention.
