Idea is not original with me but it would be brilliant if the final scene of the series was taken from the dinner scene in Batman: Year One.
Trump delenda estI'd rather the last scene from Year One, Gordan waiting for Batman by the Bat-Signal.
The dinner party scene is great but it's a pure Batman moment when Gordan is the main character of the show.
But then you'd still have to show a meeting with Batman, and explain some Insane Troll Logic as to why Gordon chooses to put a bat-shaped signal on top of the GCPD.
This Gordon's doubt of the supernatural (and lack of a greater comic book universe full of superheroes) is going to make that scene Hilarious in Hindsight.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Master Spanner in the Works Jim Gordon.
Gordon doing his best Bourne impression.
Wow. New haircuts and blood stains everywhere and I only missed two minutes at the start and 30-50 seconds on the second commercial break.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!So did Fish take time out of her quest for revenge to get her hair and nails done?
Ok, who let Light Yagami in here? This is why it was stupid to be her therapist, Leslie.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Oh, Penguin is good.
That's an old trick, but it worked.
Well, there goes Two-Face's origin.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Hell of an Idiot Ball Maroni was holding.
Oh shit, a headshot.
Man, could he ever have had made it out of there. Fish even backed down on the "number 1, number 2" thing.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Selina's confusing me this episode. One second she's helping Bruce take down corruption, the next she's willingly becoming a mob enforcer and helping a boss gun down people, including people she knew.
Even putting her... complicated morality aside, this sort of thing just doesn't seem her style.

"Here's Barbra!"

Penguin VS Fish.
Ok, who let Light Yagami in here?Oh boy, another Never Found the Body situation.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Penguin's pretty spry for someone who was shot.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Aw damnit, Fish is eventually going to come back.
I am hoping that the final scene of the finale will be a few years in the future, maybe showing Bruce beginning his official training.
