I won't ask if its scientifically possible to set a series of electrocutions in a police on "stun".
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).I get the feeling Maroni's going to go after Penguin's mother in retaliation, though it would be a bit out of character for him to go after a defenseless old lady thus far, simply because the conversation they had seemed to be foreshadowing it.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Ouch.
So, Falcone's the villain. Go figure.
Heh. Right. I didn't remember if Fish was from the original comics or invented for the show. But knowing that Penguin will eventually become a top dog in Gotham, "a penguin eating a fish" should've been an obvious allusion. It's a shame, Jada was one of the most entertaining actors in the show next to Bullock and Penguin.

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Ok, that was really satisfying.
He wouldn't be The Roman if he were so easily defeated, it seems.
Ironically, Fish might've just made him even more ruthless and dangerous than ever before.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Smoochy smooch.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! That cop is a moment killer.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureInteresting that they picked Leslie Thompkins of all characters to pair up with Jim.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. And judging from that preview, Penguin will be tea-bagging non-stop.
It's funny, remembering how he got his throat cut on The Walking Dead.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).I think Falcone just gave us a new quote topper for Even Bad Men Love Their Mamas.

And Barbara continues to be worthless.
Damn, I think Fish just awakened the beast.
One Strip! One Strip! Now we see why Don Falcone is who he is. It reminds me of Augustus in I Claudius. Most of the time he's a jolly fellow enjoying a good time, but whenever he gets a whiff of conspiracy or betrayal, he deals with his enemies quickly and ruthlessly. Falcone pretends to be a sentimental old man who's success has made him soft, but underneath he's just as sharp and deadly as ever.
Also I am loving the timeless aesthetic. Overhead projectors, typewriters and 80s model cars alongside modern cell phones.
What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly.I don't know why everyone's talking like Fish is done. She's alive therefore she'll be back, just we don't know how. And there's no way Marconi bought that so I wonder what game he's playing now.
To me, we're still moving to Falcone vs. Marconi with Fish Vs. Penguin as wild cards.
In other news, Barbara's parents killed the Waynes. And they're swingers. First time I felt for Barbara. Her parents are cold.

Narrative slight.
Unless Gordon steps in, she really doesn't have a way out of this predicament.
Unless the Red Hood pops up and saves her ass.

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Just caught the episode. I hadn't been big on them including an actual supervillain, but I thought Electrocutioner worked out well, all things considered. What makes it work for me is that he's a minor villain, the kind that Batman would deal with in about two minutes, but when facing normal cops, takes out half the department. Nicely sets up why a superhero will be necessary, while still letting the police score a victory over an abnormal villain.
It didn't make me feel for Barbara, but I'm past the point of feeling anything for her, even hate. She's a failure as not only a human being, but a character, and I'm past caring what happens to her, because in my opinion there is no her to care about, if you understand what I mean.

You'd think Gruber would take some sort of precaution than to make his equipment able to be completely shut down by splashing half a cup of water on it.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!I'm surprised the thing didn't kill him when it shorted out, but then I guess he designed it with "not getting myself killed next time it rains" in mind.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. As far as we know, that was probably his first version. It's fairly standard in these kind of stories to have recurring villains re-appear with upgraded equipment to increase the danger factor. And he's already pretty old, so it would also be believable for The Electrocutioner to become a Legacy Character.
What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly.I'm still loving how episode by episode you see Bullock evolving, once more becoming the good cop he was before Gotham finally crushed him.
As far as I know, the comics version is a legacy character, so that wouldn't be too shocking.
This is a signature.Bullock is the king of this show, he steals every scene he is in.
Was like Anteres on Barbara. Don't see really what to blame her for in this episode. She realizes probably better than the viewers how low she has sunk, because considering her parents, it's a safe bet she would prefer to have nothing more to do with her.
Honestly, her parents annoyed me more than she did, this episode. They were too stereotypically upper-class.
This is a signature. And swingers. They screamed "key party" to me.
Hopefully Babs can be redeemed. I like redemption stories, even if it's redemption from being an idiot.
We'll see. Knowing she's messed up might help.
She's gonna feel worse when she finds out who that girl in his house was.
One Strip! One Strip!
Lucky for Gordon he was wearing Chekhov's Shoes.
