Like to suggest this pic from Dilbert as a page pic.

Does not illustrate. The trope is not just "Only Sane Man, but in the workplace." It's about managing all the other crazy employees.

The cat herder of the office space if you like.

Yeah, that one is not a proper illustration. The trope's widely misused for Only Sane Man, so we ought not to advance it.

Name doesn't help, you'd think as a snowclone it would mean "Only Sane Man but in a workplace" but nope, it means "Team Mom/Nerd Nanny for a workplace".

Although I must say the OP suggestion would be a better page image for Only Sane Man, since the current pic for that page relies too much like a dialogue and feels like a page quote.

^^ Tropes are very often more broad or narrow than their name suggests.

The suggestion looks better than the current on Only Sane Man. What were you suggesting it for at first?

Prefer current for Only Sane Man.

[up] Suggestion had been for Only Sane Employee.

[up] I don't think the current is particularly bad - in fact, it's one I highly like - and I don't feel the new one is especially better. Do I really need a reason more than that?

Current picture relies entirely on the text to display the trope

The current image is NSFW as well. I support the Dilbert one.

[up] Yeah but of the Penny Arcade images we have scattered around, most do contain swearing so I don't know... Don't go looking at Cluster F-Bomb, no fun will be had there..

Should be under the "family friendly" thing but isn't considered an instant no.

Dilbert works for Only Sane Man.

If you want to say "family friendly", say "family friendly". NSFW is for stuff that can be mistaken for porn, and sometimes extremely graphical stuff. Stuff that can get you fired from work if you look at it there. Assuming you're allowed to surf in the first place, otherwise TV Tropes would be NSFW all by itself.

I think the Dilbert one would be an improvement.

I like the suggestion because the current is a bit too text-reliant.

Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.

"NSFW" means you wouldn't want to be caught looking at it from across the room, usually something that looks like porn or is gory; it does not mean that you wouldn't want to be caught looking at it on close inspection, that applies to most web sites depending on the environment. Obscenity isn't NSFW.

It's very difficult to illustrate sanity without using words or getting sidetracked by other more prominents trope in my opinion.

Say you decided to grab that image from the Simpsons * Yes, I am aware that for some reason people really started to hate Simpsons and Anime images- Maybe this is not the case now because it's been a loooong time since I posted.

Take for example, the old image for Flashback Fail. It works in context for both tropes.

I think the Dilbert one is better than the current. The current picture is completely dialogue-dependent. The Dilbert picture at least shows the other characters being crazy.
