I went to a Dairy Queen Grill and Chill standalone joint (one that actually serves meals instead of just frozen desserts). Ordered a meal with the usual (anything with bacon) and I will say it's actually alright. Their burgers are almost similar in quality to A&W's and probably Burger King.

Some folks on the Internet think they're a special GIFT to the world, and others aren't. In this perspective, they're kind of right.

[up]The last time I had a burger at a Dairy Queen, it was so tiny that I think it legally qualified as a slider. It made the shrinkydink hamburgers at McDonald's look like a triple Whopper in comparison.

An excellent new burger place opened up in town.

I discovered the magical wonderland that is Sheetz today.

The mozzarella burger was surprisingly good, or at least decent. You wouldn't think a convenience store would have tasty food, but...

If anyone is in Helsinki or planned to go, I've heard of one place, Morrison's, a small walk from the central railway station.

Experiences, anyone? I at least am gonna try King Kong Burger sometime.

I went to Lumsden in Newmarket, Auckland. The patties of that burger were so rich, meaty...god, probably the most delicious burger I have ever had

When it comes to burgers, I really love them. I have no actually a "prefered burger", thought the best burger I'd have ate was from an relatively fancy restaurant (the "fancy" is relative, the restaurant actually belongs to the same building as a hotel althought the restaurant operates independently, so naturally is "cleaner" than most restaurants). Anyway, the meat easily reached 1 inch of thickness, the burger contains american cheese, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, onion and.......well, the burger was kinda big......AND DELICIOUS!!!

I love Burger King burgers, especially the Whopper, and the Big King, and Mc Donald's for their coffees.

Unfortunately both franchises want to compete so I'm never going to get a really good meal, as I see it, from a single trip to one of their restaurants.

Tam H 70, That's rough buddy.

Also, is a good thing you admit to like Mc Donalds and Burger King, most people loves making fun of those places or hating them.

What if the Mc Whopper became real? That would be amazing.

^ Why would you ruin a cheap Mickey D's burger with the garbage that is Burger King? It's like a double synergy of cheap garbage!

A local bar & grill has a burger menu that goes on for three or four pages. Basically, it's every possible permutation of burger toppings that you can think of, and then some. I usually have some variant on the California cheeseburger (American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise), sometimes with bacon, onions, or pickles added. But there are some odd combinations. PBJ burger, anyone? Or a Hawaiian burger, with ham and pineapple? How about a nice fried egg on top of that?

If you don't believe me, see for yourself:

When I lived in southern California, there was a place called the Dream Burger. The specialty of the house, the Dream Burger itself, was a huge burger that covered an entire dinner-sized plate, made with four or five regular-sized hamburger patties. Four of us used to split one for lunch.

Dream Burger had a standing bet: Anybody who could eat four Dream Burgers in the span of one hour would win $100 cash. I don't know if anyone ever met the challenge...

I've only had one of the hamburgers on the menu of the Star Cinema Grill, the appropriately named Catching Fire Burger, but it's excellent. [tup]
