Kantai Collection: Moe IJN Battleship Combat

^ Yeah, that's one of the reason why I eventually went normal instead (even after I clear TP on hard)...others being the insanely tight plane requirement for AS on hard, the insane number of Rus on S node (even just 2 on medium is seriously putting damper on going to boss), and no clue why I want extra flight deck when I already K2 the cranes...

Because they're not for the Cranes, but for Akagi and Kaga, who look like they'll get Armored and Advanced for their Kai-2s to match with their Movie configs.

Whew, beat E-5N finally...and got the totally didn't needed Asakaze.

Now to try to beat 3-5 and 4-5 in 1 day...

Just for reference, but I'm on last dance for E 4 H. I only had to stop because I literally ran out of sparkled destroyers for my support fleets, ahaha.

And event done. Decided to continue on my semi-relaxed pace on medium difficulty. While trying to debuff the boss I realised I had gotten to where I'd be on the last dance anyway, so I just shifted the planes over and didn't bother with the debuff.

In the final battle, neither Pringles nor KTKM even got to fire at night. Solid S-rank. With a Dyson it can be pretty difficult, but if Dyson meets super-powered Nagato, Nagato wins. Didn't hurt that the mini-Dyson in the escort fleet got taken out by the air strike.

I got a Sakawa on the way, but she's kind of not interesting, so I didn't keep her. If I had her, it would've been way easier, though, if she's even half as powerful as Pringles. Also gave Poi a sonar, so she could get the pre-emptive attack (it was either that or a searchlight; probably wouldn't have gone for a proper radar). Helped reducing the retreats at the sub node.

The final boss music was rather epic. I liked that one. Music overall was pretty good, as usual, and not as disjointed as some previous event. The air base defend tune is a bit different, though.

I pretty much had to brute-force it, yeah. But mhmm, E-5H done, and event concluded. :)

Hilariously, I completed the last requirement for jellyhime's debuff◊ by ACCIDENT. I suddenly heard the "quest complete" sound after I returned from a failed run at her.

In the end none of the Crossroad trio finished off Jellyfish, but it was Ooi who did the honors◊. :)

Them graphical errors◊ though...

Area complete◊, Hard Medal◊, and Event Clear screens◊.

And last but not the least, Graphs! For resources◊, and buckets◊.

But darn, the sparklecolle and resource-colle was STRONG in this event. I burned through a LOT of damegami particularly in E-4.

Imagine that, it was Ooi who sank the last enemy for me as well, but I don't think it was the Jellyfish. I forgot who sank her, but it was either Poi or Abukuma.

I like the justice of RJ landing the final kill for me. Anyway, I just finished farming and after 1 and half years, I finally got Takanami. D Dcolle done. Only missing Musashi and Shioi from the kc dex which I'll lsc for

Takanami was actually my very first event-only ship. Which I've mentioned way too many times before, or something. Been one of my primary DDs for a long time now.

Was doing some farming on E-5, and it's surprisingly easy if you've gotten hime debuffed to begin with. Though I WAS going after Asakaze, the extra Maruyu, Akitsumaru, and Pola it gave me instead isn't too shabby either.

Comp is of course Maya + another CA (I used Choukai here), Saratoga + 3VBs then Sakawa 2DDs CTL CAV Prinz. It's enough to A-Rank hime, especially when you sic two LB As full of bombers to the node.

Had to stop though, as my buckets bottomed out.

One down◊. Either lsc some more for Shioi or farm in 6-1

So, Jets finally, huh. And they got opening-opening air strike...iiiiinteresting.

Also, apparently there's going to be successor to F4F-4? Damn, wish I kinda did E-5 on hard...though I don't exactly think I have enough ships for the lock...or I have enough but might be too hard...oh well, too late anyhow. At least it seems like you'll be able to upgrade -3 to -4, and probably to the new aircraft...not gonna be cheap tho.

Don't have much to say about the new CGs. Bono's new one looks much better than her old one, though, so I'm glad it's not a seasonal one. Even if her ponytail stays in one piece.

Kuma's ahoge seems to have went the way of Ushio's chest. It's getting bigger with every next CG.

Does she have her historical 47-plane airwing? If not, wake me up when they implement Project 23/Sovetskiy Soyuz or something even more unfinished.

Also, what Duck said. Shinano can be the most long-awaited ship in Kan Colle, but her being implemented in other games should go on games' respective pages/threads/whatever.

Damn, to get a proper jet plane I have to do the new Mikawa sortie quest...slot problem.

I wonder if I should break the "no buying in-game F 2 P items" vow or not...

I have a feeling that to unlock a whole lot of the quests LEADING to the Prototype Keiun, nevermind the Kikka-Kai, I'll have to invest time in clearing some of the stupidly boneheaded quests as well.

A flowchart really would help in this case, but no one seems to have made one yet.

Have any of you come across hypothetical fan-made designs for the yet-to-debut Bismarck's sister ship Tirpitz, or any of the other Kriegsmarine warships? And no, the ones made for World of Warships or other thinly-veiled rip-offs of KanColle don't count; only truly KanColle-related ones are my concern here.

... Wow, she looks so... so cutesy! Like, she could've passed for a younger sister of Prinz if she weren't packing a battleship-grade rigging instead of a heavy cruiser-grade one. I was expecting something like the difference between Nagato and Mutsu, or Fusou and Yamashiro: Similar yet different.
