The current pic is... pretty bad. Poor quality, it's unclear who the focus is, there's a giant butt for some reason, and the "fake" part is entirely reliant on the caption. Heck, so is the "cutie" part since we can neither see the cat well, nor the girl.

I say pull it, even if we don't find a replacement.

BB Hood from Darkstalkers would be a great example. My only issue is that she's on Little Red Fighting Hood. It shouldn't be an issue as long as we pick a very different image.

How about this?◊ We've got a cutesy outfit, she's curtseying, but she's got explosives and an evil look on her face.

4.1 looks suitably malicious.

4.1 is definitely better than the Puss in Boots pic the OP had added without any consensus (which is a duplicate image from Puppy-Dog Eyes anyway).

One or two more votes for 4.1 and we can run with it.

Another for BB Hood.

Good enough. It's up, potholed, and tagged; I also added her as an example, tweak the entry if it's not completely kosher.

For a caption, I was thinking; "Some girls wear bloomers. BB Hood wears boomers."

That's a good caption.

I added a pothole to Humans Are the Real Monsters to your entry for BB Hood, but otherwise it's great.

I could swear we have BB Hood as the page image on a similar page. I don't think it's the same image, though I'm not 100%.

She's the page image for Little Red Fighting Hood.

I made sure that the image I suggested was really different from the image for that.

She's on another page which I saw this morning but can't remember now...the pics are completely dissimilar so we don't have to worry about that.

Any other thoughts on that caption suggestion?

While I can appreciate your... enthusiasm, don't unilaterally make changes to a page image like that. Especially if there's a mod notice specifically saying not to do so.

Anyway, the issue with Tweety is that nothing about the image says "fake" cutie. Just looks like the cutie. And depending on the cartoon, he might just be a plain ol' cutie.

Neither do I. But a good page illustration shouldn't need to rely on the audience recognizing the character. And the image suggested in @4 is the best suggestion so far.

Anyhow, caption-wise, I don't know what "Boomers" is a pun of.

Boomers, like bloomers but without an L, it's not a great pun.
