if it's just the "founding fathers" i suggest a pic of mount rushmore or the Naruto equivalent.
EDIT/NOTE: i'm not actually sure if the faces in Mt Rushmore were founders.
but it's a very obvious memoriam for people that screams "these guys were so important in our history we put their faces in a mountain".

Is dast der Zerstorer? Odar die Schopfer?I was thinking a somewhat tongue-in-cheek lampshade, putting up a picture of Fast Eddie and saying "Our co-founder"... but thinking about it, that'd just make it a prime vandalism target.
Moon◊Jebediah Springfield, maybe?
I looked into that. No pics I found showed "founder"-ness, just "A noble spirit embiggens the smallest man."

I like Jebediah Springfield. He has a good exaggeratedly heroic pose, and he's in period dress that places him in pioneer days. He's also from a popular TV show (and in the Title Sequence no less), which definitely embiggens the image's appeal, since a lot of people will already know the context.
We don't need a plaque telling us the title of the trope. The title of the trope is right there at the top of the page already, and if we need a caption, we can write our own.
(For the record, the current is not JAFAAC; conveying that the trope is about statues is definitely relevant.)
Rhymes with "Protracted."The pic is fine but having background might help◊ with the caption "John Harvard, benefactor and namesake of Harvard College."
I like that latest pic.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThat works well enough for me.
Well, 7 is an improvement, at least.
Check out my fanfiction! If it's just founders with a background. how about these?
Hokage Monument [1]◊ [2]◊ [3]◊, Republic City & Aang, Kamina City and it's namesake.
I might be shoehorning em though. as none seem to be founders. Kamina and aang are in the trope page at least.

Is dast der Zerstorer? Odar die Schopfer? What's with the "anonym.to" stuff? I've never seen it before, but surely it's not necessary for a link to a Photobucket image of all things.

Moon◊7 seems like a lateral move.
Here's Jebediah Springfield.
Rhymes with "Protracted."
13 seems like a worse move. Same concept, less nice/more common art. Variety is good. Also lacks prestige.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. That seems more fitting for something other than this trope.
It makes me think of beast-slaying heroes.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman@12 — i've been getting complaints that some images i link gets 404s because of hotlinking. so i simply put it in everything to avoid that.
anonym.to bypasses that by removing the referer and making the server think you're accessing the image directly.
i know a site that modifies ALL links people post to have anonym.to. well, it's a private site, so it makes sense they don't want referers. but that's not relevant here.
no comments on 11?

Is dast der Zerstorer? Odar die Schopfer? That's three votes for post seven. Anyone else?
OK, on 11: Some pics there have image quality issues.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanClock is set.
Clock's up; locking for inactivity/lack of consensus. Locking up.
It's just a statue. It doesn't say anything about it being a founder, just that it's a statue of a guy. In fact, the caption makes it more confusing.
Random GIS images◊
Would work with a caption saying "The Founding Fathers"◊
