Yeah, too wide, so if shrunken I think it becomes too cluttered.
Check out my fanfiction!Pokemon aren't absolute beings, they can all be defeated. It doesn't illustrate the "absolutes" aspect. I'm not sure if there is a way to depict this in an image.
That Zekrom vs. Reshiram is a good one for ImageLinks.Yin Yang Clash.
Rhymes with "Protracted."Shouldn't it be fine as long as it doesn't show the Pokemon being used/captured by humans? Also, they are listed in the work examples, so they do illustrate the trope. The problem with the Pokemon images are that they're all fanarts.
Assuming that the example is correct, that is.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSome of the examples are misplaced. This trope is a kind of logical paradox. Some of the examples overlook that bit.
Can I assume we want to stay away from the opposing forces being "good vs. evil" because of possibly being mistaken for other tropes?
Also, the page says this trope is exclusively for "absolute forces." Something to keep in mind.

Then again, a good illustration does not always have to be a good example. Even if Pokemon aren't actually presented as unbeatable absolutes in their own universe, I'd argue that dragon-like creatures would by default appear as one.
I think we're severely limiting ourselves with the narrowest definition of this trope. This is completely overthinking a rather simple concept. And honestly, the whole logical paradox thing is unnecessarily specific. Two opposing forces can be fighting in balance (aka dynamic equilibrium) without destroying the unuverse. Most of these suggestions are at least good enough for Image Links.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. If the trope is simply about "two opposing forces fighting in balance", then I suppose the current is a sufficient illustration...
The "Raava vs. Vaatu" is illustrative, but the "Zekrom vs Reshiram" is the most pleasing to the eyes, and do a good job too, with its light vs. dark theme. And the Beam-O-War nicely suggest balancing/neutralizing each other.
Lessee if that fanart in 26 still looks good at 1/3 of its original width:
Who says such the aspect ratio wouldn't make the image look bad at wiki size?
Can't really tell whats going on.
It's alright, but the width limit really goes against it's favor. It would be really good for Image Links at full size, or maybe sideways, but that would be a little weird.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Agreed.
Rotated ninety degrees.
Rhymes with "Protracted."
Pretty but long.
I think it looks a bit weird. But only a bit.
Check out my fanfiction!that's huge.
any popular character vs his foil seems to turn up "yin yang clash" eqsue stuff.
EDIT: just noticed the "absolutes" requirement. then none of these will work, neither would the pokemon examples or any media examples, as that would require knowledge about the work. god vs satan and others however...

Is dast der Zerstorer? Odar die Schopfer?I do like 47.2
That's really good. But there are so many good options, this will have to be decided by a crowner and have an Image Links.

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
Fourth image doesn't really show the fighting.
I found another Zekrom vs Reshiram◊ fanart, which I think is really good. Might be a bit too wide, though
