I will take the survey.
I just finished it.
I like to keep my audience riveted. So did I.
Done
I now go by Graf von Tirol.I take a strong disliking to certain suggestions (esp. the equation of tattoos to criminal behaviour) in that survey and thus refuse to finish it.

Fear the cinnamon sugar swirl. By the Gods, fear it, Laurence. The survey doesn't say having multiple tattoos and piercings is criminal. It says it is deviant. There is a difference between the two. Most average people would consider having many tats and piercings a violation of social norms regarding appearance.
Then what constitutes deviant?

For the purposes of this survey, I figured deviance is what would cause a majority of average people to go "Hurumph, that's not cricket!"
It's ironic, though. Once upon a time, people got tattoos and piercings to be unique and rebellious. Now they're so common and widespread, the only people who are unique and rebellious are the ones that don't have any.

I like to keep my audience riveted.Yeah, of course. But there's a difference between how society perceives a college girl with a rose on her shoulder and a big guy with tattoos on every inch of his arms.
I know it amounts mostly to semantics, but it still bears rather unfortunate implications to imply that tattoos and piercings are to be compared to cheating on your gf and otherwise despicable behaviour. I'm usually not overly sensitive, but in this case I insist on professionalism .

Finished.
Panhandling sign glued to hands. Need $5 for solvent.Done-diddly-un.
Small thing I must say - on number 7, the two can be combined, and often are for me due to how many of those I know in the flesh prefer to talk through some sort of online service - and quite often, we'll play some sort of video game together, typically Crusader Kings.
I feel that should be an option somehow, given how the two are being combined for many.
"Did you expect somebody else?"Done. Ignore should be an option on the scenarios, though. Just because some dude is rude to me online doesn't mean I'm gonna leave if he appears, but it doesn't mean I'm gonna assault them or have a friendly chat with them. And I agree that it's somewhat odd to classify stuff like underage drinking and cheating on your SO together.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.If the question was "Have you engaged in what is widely considered deviant behaviour", it would sound less generalising in intention. I am a skinhead, sporting both tattoos (and planning to get many more) and self-inflicted scars, so I certainly have a "deviant" appearance. But at the same time I have a strict code of honour and consider myself far less anti-social than many "well-adjusted" cizizens out there, and I certainly neither approve of cheating on loved ones, nor even underage drinking (albeit, granted, where I come from the legal age is 16 for light alcoholic beverages and 18 for spirits, so my caveat pertains to reasons of health first and foremost).
Well, be that as it may; maybe I'm just being nitpicky here. I guess I'll do my civic duty and finish the survey .
Fear the cinnamon sugar swirl. By the Gods, fear it, Laurence.77 responses! Woo!
Yeah, I know the survey isn't perfect. It's a collaborative effort. I originally did have an "ignore" option in the scenarios, but my professor told me for some daft reason that "leave the scene" and "ignore the moron" are the same thing in terms of measuring the severity of the response. Sorry about that.
Anyway, thank you all so much for answering this thing. The answers are obviously heavily skewed towards those who play games, so now I'm going to have to track down and harass people who don't game to see if their responses are different in any way.
Number 5 won't let me not check anything even though the games I play don't have any of those things. Unless you count Pokemon as combatants...
...Shite, I knew I forgot something. I can't change the question without wiping all the results. Very sorry about that.
Did it.

Hey tropers, I posted this first in the Video Game board but I figured I'd post it here.
I'm in a capstone Criminal Justice research class, and our topic is whether video games have an impact on a person's tendency to commit deviant acts. We've put together our survey, and now I need some responses. If you could just take a few minutes to fill it out, I'd really appreciate it.
Here's the survey. Thanks so much in advance!
