Exactly What It Says on the Tin
Feel free post your idea for game you wish someone would start or, if you're a GM type person, peruse this thread to see if there's anything that looks interesting that at least one other person has interest in too.
Sounds good to me
EDIT: My Fusion Fic RP is up and running....

I'm not sure if one's open already or not, but a Geist The Sin Eaters game on this site would be awesome!
Might be fun to have an Expendables type RP with characters from various forms of fiction getting involved in cheesy action movie plots (with lots of 'splosions of course).
I personally think one that could really be done well by the right GM, would be Kamen Rider, maybe like a Taisen style rp? I dunno.
Good to be backAnother Avatar-based idea. Just gonna leave it here.
Avatar 20K: Age of the Dark Avatar
10,000 years after Korra's Harmonic Convergence, mankind has colonized the galaxy with the help of the spirits and bending-assisted advanced technology. With his companion the Avatar returns to the Tree of Time to confront Vaatu with Raava once more as Harmonic Convergence approaches again.
But then things go From Bad to Worse.
The shock of releasing Vaatu from his body leaves the Avatar helpless as the dark spirit targets his waterbending companion, forcibly possessing her and making her bond with him using Harmonic Convergence's energy.
Then Vaatu revealed that he also holds the power of the elements, thanks to sharing the same body as Raava once again for millennia. With this power Vaatu forces the new Dark Avatar to kill her friend. Once this is done, Vaatu immediately forces the Avatar's companion to commit suicide, beginning a cycle of reincarnation for the Dark Avatar, with the child born in the nation opposite of the next Avatar's, destined to clash with the Light Avatar of their time.
It has been two hundred years since then, and now the search begins for the newest Dark Avatar, who should now be sixteen years old after the last Dark Avatar's death.

Allurand and surrounding world loading, 28%...Wow, that's dark.
But you bring up something interesting. An Avatar RP needs to happen in some way, shape or form.

THIS OH LORD YES PLEASE SOMEBODY GM THIS
Even if a time machine was invented, and man discovered how to live forever, not a single thing would become more convenient.Depending on time and interest, I may try to revive an RP inspired by Manhunt or a historical Cold War one centered in American and Soviet-backed multinational commando units.
"Exit muna si Polgas. Ang kailangan dito ay si Dobermaxx!"Wait a minute, aren't we not allowed to revive old thread? Can you just make another one?
http://www.last.fm/user/sgtpendulum Yo, check out what I'm listening, it'll be heat, brah :^)Are you pointing those arrows a post or just at your own link?
The link.
Even if a time machine was invented, and man discovered how to live forever, not a single thing would become more convenient.@Sgt Pendulum: dead RPs should be left dead. If you want to start a new one, do so, but if it's someone else's idea, ask for permission first.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundWhat about a drawn RP. Yeah instead of posting with words you draw your adventures as a response as an alternative. With all skills levels accepted, from stick figures to master drawings.

Forgiveness is beyond justice, faith is superior than hope, redemption is better than perfection and love is greater than them all.How about an RP where everyone is a mage but once you awaken as a mage you get two things drawn out from you. You gain a focus and familiar.
The focus would be an object that would conceptualize and represent an ideal or ability important to you and that drives you. It could be any object from a gun to a glove to shovel but it essentially serves as your magic wand. The familiar would be much like the Daemons from "His Dark Materials" in that they are manifestations of a person's soul and their internal foil in teh shape of a creature.
As you grow as a mage your familiar and focus level up with you to show your progress. All the familiars start off as little balls of light that can basically take the sillouhette of a creature (look much like fairies from zelda) and will eventually reach a point upon which the familiar settles into a shape or creature form it gets stuck with. The weapons would level up and change appearance to reflect your character.
These two objects could be fragments of the characters soul broken off and made manifest and will always serve as extensions of the character.

Struggling through it allThat sounds like it could be fun.

The graceless warrior, wielder of the edgeless blade, prophet of the old religions, writer of fluent nonsense, saviour of soul and song.An extension of the above idea I posted
The big bad could be a guy forcibly capturing and converting people into mages and then taking and stealing their familiars and Foci. So he'd basically eat souls to level up instead of just gain experience (maybe he's at the end of his life and can't gain much more experience). The protags could be bunch of escaped converts who are adjusting to just having their soul fragmented and gaining magical powers. Characters would develop as it went along and you goal would be to end the big bads forced conversions and consumptions. Maybe we could have The big bad's end goal is trying to use his accumulated power to force a god to be "converted" to mage craft and then enslave the god's familiar and use his focus to basically inherit his power.
I forgot to mention that the familiar doesn't have to be a mundane animal, but please try not to make it human, or if you do make it humanoid make it weird looking like personas or stands from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.
Also another feature gained by mages would probably be some sort of magic line or runes that glow on their body. Think of the "Marked Change" or "Power Tattoo" or "Tron Lines" trope. Could even make a personal sigil or crest out of them if you wish.

Struggling through it allI'd definitely be interested. I've got a character that could easily be adapted for this, and it seems that new stuff has slowed to a glacial pace.
Forward, boys! For God's sake, forward!Yes I am a fan of the Nasuverse. That was one of my inspirations for that feature. Also Fable which has will lines when you get awesome at magic. It's a common trope. I meant make a personal crest in the asthetic sense. The lines could form in a way that if you have a symbol close to you they may take the shape. Not act as the inheritable things from the Nasuverse.

Struggling through it allI will be starting an Old Republic-era Star Wars RP sometime soon; possibly this weekend. It will focus on Sith/Dark Jedi characters (though not necessarily evil).

Flesh is a design flaw. How are Sith/Dark Jedi "not evil"?
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundMoral ambiguity, son
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialIt's called The Unifying Force. Look it up on Wookieepedia (yes, that's a thing).
And that said, even in The Living Force, there's room. The Sith Code preaches following your passions. I have a passion for justice and fairness.

It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve.
Characters involved as crossovers from existing series. Big Bad is OC.
