Exactly What It Says on the Tin
Feel free post your idea for game you wish someone would start or, if you're a GM type person, peruse this thread to see if there's anything that looks interesting that at least one other person has interest in too.
Not sure if it's been done before, but I'd love something based off of Persona 4 (being the only game in the series I extensively know of beyond the first few minutes).
I've been dying to do an RP based on Grand Theft Auto V
Right, dude, I've seen you posting this so many times, and I really just want to put this out. I think this is why your GTA games never get a big audience:
GTA is a game with a very thin plot, and it's gameplay relies too much on the interaction that a videogame provides that translating it to a RP format strips it of that immediate response you get in a videogame. Pressing a button to shoot up a bunch of people is more fun than writing about how you shoot a bunch of people, and a RP is the latter times ten with a focus on the plot, which is not the strongest part of any GTA game.
Do you understand what I'm trying to say? It's just that every month you come up with a new GTA RP...

Another idea: An original Sentai hero/magical girl team RP. We pick a theme for the team (elements, animals, monsters, movie genres, military, sci-fi, etc...), and then each player designs their own color coded member with a powerset that fits the theme somehow. Add a mentor, some equipment, a base, and an enemy, and then they can fight crime/evil together in an episodic setting in a random city or whatever.
I supposed if you were to make an Rp about some mooks in a crime organization on their own escapades during a gang war, a GTA rp could work,
Good to be backI've been interested in an idea like that for a while, Scorpio. Send me a PM and we can talk.
@Stratofarius
See, the older GTA games did have a thin plot. But it sounds like you've never played the HD Era Games (GTA IV and GTA V). GTA IV was all about the plot, and GTA V also has a detailed plot.
But you do have a point in me wanting to propose it so often. It does get kind of tiring.
@Troy
That's pretty much what I had imagined
@Scorpio Rat
Also, I would be interested in the Sentai/Magical Girl game.

That reminds me of when I tried to do an episodic TMNT/Gargoyles-styled game about undercover, inhuman PC characters (probably aliens) trying to protect the Earth from alien invaders. Designed to be cheesy, campy, and so radical that everyone within fifty miles gets a free skateboard and pair of sunglasses.
Sort of tempted to try that again, but probably wont.
I've liked Sentai series as far back as I can remember (literally; one of my two first memories was watching MM Power Rangers), though I'm not fond of how kid-y they usually are (I'm into really dark stuff). A well-done Darker and Edgier version, though-that is something I've been interested in for a long time.
For the matter, while I'm new here, I'm a rather experienced roleplayer, and certainly not new to gming. Were a few people interested, I suppose I could run the above setting.
... The world is dyed in twilight crimson and the ysbryd becomes the ddraig,the shadowed light of Heaven.I had an idea for a Sentai series with just four people designed around the Five-Man Band. Specifcally, The Leader isn't there, whoever it was supposed to be died or Refused the Call, so the RP would focus on how dysfunctional the rest are without their middle man.
We can also take a page from the first few episodes of Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger, in which the rangers attend their own separate civilian lives but fight together as rangers, not knowing each others' identities.
Wait, are we discussing running one Sentai-ish series now or are we all throwing out disconnected ideas? I mean, if others are interested in one of the ones presented, I think it will help to say so (with their suggested included as part of that).
... The world is dyed in twilight crimson and the ysbryd becomes the ddraig,the shadowed light of Heaven.Eventua: That sounds ridiculously fun.
I'm interested in some manner of dragon rider RP... though of course there are boatloads of dragon franchises and trying to decide between them would be a pain.
Victory! Honor! Destiny! Mutton!Thank you. I actually had an alien species that I'm no longer using for my own projects that would work great, though I'd have to give them a less chaotic name than before - they're basically the concept of Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot given form: a swarm of alien factories that randomly mash together various bits of technology and genetic information to create hordes of bizarre, chaotic, Frankensteinien creatures.
(Most of - not including a couple of mandatory humans -) the player characters would be a Vanguard Team sent in to weaken Earth's defenses, but, I dunno, they probably decide after a few weeks that they like it too much and so have to try and simultaneously conquer and protect Earth, along a similar vein to stuff like Invader Zim or Butt Ugly Martians.
There would be zany antics! Epic battles! More puns than you can shake a stick at!
And, as mentioned, sunglasses and skateboards, probably pizza and reversed baseball caps.
You know, Romanov's pitched wrestling rp has given me an idea, why not have a wrestling Rp where Kayfabe is real?
Good to be backCapital idea!
Seriously, I like it.

So, Invader Zim meets the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?
Sounds good to me.
Victory! Honor! Destiny! Mutton!Might be a bit bland, but how about a good 'ol fashioned spy/espionage thing à la Dishonored?
I'd be interested in playing a Magic The Gathering RP. Preferably one that takes place in a completely different corner of the Multiverse than the main storyline, so that the metaphysics are the same (5 colours of mana, planes & planeswalkers, etc.) but the plot is completely separate.
A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.A Yu Gi Oh RP where eachnplayer is given a randomly generated Number Card and told to build their deck around that Number. This kind of ideas has been attempted at least 3 times it just never got off the ground.
GIVE ME YOUR FACEY'know what'd be cool, a low fantasy pirate RP.
The fantasy might be low, but my interest would be high.
Either something from Drifters where we play public domain figures...
Or something based from the computer game Silent Storm, except it's set in the Cold War with two spec ops groups controlled by the CIA and the KGB.
A lot of the time when I get my thoughts wrapped on something, I get sorta-kinda obsessed with it.
Currently, my obsession is for something like those roleplays about magical highschool or the like.
I'll admit I've been reading an awful lot of Power Puff Girls Doujinshi lately, which might be attributing to that.
