I'd say end of 2016 is a reasonable timeframe for a "deadline before getting pissed off about MN 9".
But I'd personally like to see it before summer. Before June-ish.
At this point it's not even funny anymore; it's just sad.
EDIT: Time to update the trope page's release date.

The Protomen enhanced my life.I found the apology good and I can wait.
I also backed a hefty amount (for me) and still feel content waiting it out.

There's something wrong here.
I see Western fans going all "LOL YOU GUYS SUCK I KNEW THE DELAY WAS COMING IM QUITTING".
But all the others (French, Japan, etc) are like "Don't worry, fight the bugs! We can wait for it!".
I can wait too, since how February is chock full of game releases, I got other things to pass the time and I actually like playing through the demo to like the game enough.

I'm not really bothered by it but I'm definitely not giving Inafune anymore money for a Kickstarter campaign. He's done too much stupid stuff for me to trust him.
I'm not even mad. This is pretty hysterical.
To be honest, I would have forgotten entirely about this game were it not for this thread being bookmarked.
I've pretty much forgotten about it to. I backed it enough to get a digital copy so I'll probably play it when it comes out. I don't think I'll be interested in any sequels unless it's really good.
If the game is good and he puts another one on kickstarter, I'd probably back that too. That's the only meter I care about.
Despite my laissez faire attitude, I am very much a citizen of the United States. Southern states, even.
I only paid 20 dollars (and felt kinda pressured into it) so I'm not too upset either way. I feel really bad for a guy who pledged $321 and IS really upset XD;
The Protomen enhanced my life.Remember that the first release date was April last year. I really hope the game comes out before that date this year.
So I found an image for this game that kinda sums up some of the things that went wrong with MN9◊. It kinda makes me feel bad for Beck.
However being reminded of all the multimedia stuff MN 9 is supposed to be in. Do you think they are delaying it because of a bug in the network or because they want it to coincide with the release of the T.V. show and other multimedia stuff, I mean most of the faith and good will towards MN 9 is gone so would they really lose anything by doing so.

Daamn, I completely forgot about this game.
...It's STILL not out? Wow.
I backed it as well. I'm not getting up in arms about it; it's hardly the first time that a major developer I liked has had issues getting a product out the door. For those curious, I'm referencing Shigeru Miyamoto and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. And that's an interesting parallel, because not only was it delayed by a significant amount, but the final result was a pretty large disappointment (even if it inspired the creation of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, which goes a huge way towards forgiving Zelda II for its shortcomings).
Now, I think it's totally fair to be cautious about giving Inafune any further money for projects until he can prove that things aren't as bad as they looked during the latter months of this fiasco. That said, maybe this was just a blip, a really bad situation that Inafune is going to learn a lot from, and he'll make things better and more streamlined in the future. I gave Miyamoto a chance after being disappointed in Zelda II, and you might say that he worked things out. Maybe Inafune will, too.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Who knows, maybe in the end Red Ash will actually be finished before M#9 .
Fear the cinnamon sugar swirl. By the Gods, fear it, Laurence.Okay, let's not get crazy here.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Well that sounded a lot better in my head.

I almost forgot about this. It's really sad to hear about this, but my expectations have been going downhill for a while.
I'll still try to get it, but I doubt if it'll defy the Hype Backlash.

Even Nintendo Force isn't too happy.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Hype Backlash will destroy this game.
Nothing else matters anymore. It died before it had a chance to live.
Inafune didn't just shoot himself in the foot, he blew it clean off, and left nothing but a stub.
It's a very sad situation, but that's how it is.
One Strip! One Strip! All I know about that is that people love putting his especially negative quotes on trope pages and quotes pages XD
The Protomen enhanced my life. It's amazing how the hype for this game was destroyed so swiftly. Pretty sure Inafune's career will only go downhill from here.
Yeah, at this point I am laughing too ****ing hard to be upset.
