Image has terrible motion blur and is unfocused. Having seen the show, I would suggest trying to get a better screenshot from that scene.

Yeah, the concept is good, but the quality needs improvement.

Agreeing that the overall quality is too poor to consider that particular pic.

If anything, this looks more like Trash Landing.

[up][up] That's Trash Landing, again. Here's some actual dumpster diving: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

He doesn't use the dumpster to break his fall, he does it to hide, so it might be neither...

Laconic for Dumpster Dive: Voluntarily climbing into a dumpster, usually to retrieve something.

[up][up] Trash Landing is landing safely in a dumpster from an otherwise fatal height. That suggestion was Dumpster Dive, although yours are good too.

The laconic needs to be edited, then, because there's no "usually" qualifier in the actual trope description. It's all about going into a dumpster to find something, not just diving in for any reason.

8.1 is good but boring, 8.3 is better because of the action and 8.5 is funny because it's a cow instead of a person. Of the three, my preference (in order) would be 8.3, 8.5 then 8.1.

corrected the Laconic to "Voluntarily climbing into a dumpster to find or retrieve something."

Also, a suggestion, from Schlock Mercenary:

[up] That's not bad...I kinda lean toward one of the RL pics but I wouldn't downvote it.

I like the absurdity of 8.5 the most of all the suggestions.

The cow is actually funny. And I really don't like a comic strip in this case. Why have a lot of text when you need none?

Yeah, I don't like the comic either. The cow, however, is funny.

Forming consensus for the cow, then? What would be the caption?

Let's get some more votes first. I throw in a support for the cow.

The cow works fine for me; one or two more [tup] votes and we can run with it. No ideas on a caption right now, but something about looking for hay or grain would seem apropos.

Or should we just milk the cow puns for all they're worth?

I LOVE the cow image - the fact it operates on Rule of Funny just adds to it.
