Ew. Pulled.
It was added on the 10th, by the way.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Amusing, but definitely needed to go.
I'm bringing this one up from the bottom. Checked the Web Comic examples. How about the third panel of this?

Not bad. It might need the first panel too, just for context.
I was thinking that as well.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.1 & 3 arranged vertically to avoid downsizing.
Those are zombies?
Check out my fanfiction! They are anthropomorphic bugs. Not ideal, but I can't find anything better.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. That's yet another context reason for having the first panel: it shows what anthropomorphic bug zombies are "supposed" to look like.
Honestly, if you need to point out what a zombie looks like, it's not a very good illustration. Besides, I think that's more Failed a Spot Check or Too Dumb to Live.

Check out my fanfiction! To be fair, that sleepwalking gait makes me immediately think of zombies.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIf it's really a problem, we can always edit the antennae out, but I think it's pretty easy to understand.

I think the main problem is that it's damn near impossible to tell the difference between a zombie and a normal anthropomorphic bug (wow, is that A Rare Sentence). For example, is the rightmost figure in the second panel a zombie, or the dude trying to warn the cop about the zombies? That's kind of important for figuring out what trope applies...

That "dude trying to warn the cop" is a zombie. That's how clueless the cop is. The difference is rather obvious: Zombie Gait, those teeth...

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. But the trope isn't about telling an obvious truth that isn't believed in a way that only someone Too Dumb to Live wouldn't believe. The image, the way I see it, is just Ignoring The Obvious. The trope is about someone trying to warn the police about it and they don't believe it.

Check out my fanfiction!Again, this is why we need the first panel: on the left is a living anthropomorphic bug, and on the right is a zombie anthropomorphic bug (skull-like head, flies).
I like the Bug Martini pic. I give it my vote.
Clock is set.
I'm good with the suggestion.
Same for me.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI think just panel 3 (the lower half of the one in post 8) would be better than 1+3.
I realize "clear" and "witty" carry a lot of weight, but it seems like there is a general attitude that the guideline "concise" doesn't even exist. Maybe it isn't as important, but it's not unimportant. What do you get in return for halving the concision? That's an enormous cost.

Nominations for replacement images:
The current image is a meme, and image macro, and not very good picture quality anyway. It is a decent example, but the quality overall is pretty bad.
