I agree that Marvel wedding number 3 is quite good. It makes sense once you know it's a wedding (which could be done by having a caption), but I just think a picture with two brides is clearer than a picture with two grooms. That's why I preferred the Disney one with Micky Mouse and Minnie.

Here's my reasoning for not being really enthusiastic about any of the wedding pictures. They don't indicate that there's a GLBT fanbase, rather than a couple of fans who also happen to be GLBT.

Also, the Marvel pics for me look like the work is buried in the rest of the image.

At first I thought "Well how are we going to show there's a fanbase? It's not like there's going to be Lady Gaga themed drag queen competitions" ... except I just realized that that probably is a thing. 
No actual drag shows came up in a GIS, but these three do show a fanbase.
I went ahead and added them to the poll.
Those don't look very gay, especially the first. I can do better with the Disney ones. rainbow castle

I'm not that fond of those but I'd still put them ahead of that godawful "Queers Dig Timelords" cover. Two smug guys just isn't this trope.

My favorite was the #3 wedding, since it showed the Marvel logo, the gay couple, the wedding cake, and the kissing comic characters, all the the same shot. None of the others had all of those things.
