It looks like it could've been a fun game, but all those glitches...ouch.
As for the original version (since I'd never actually heard of this game), it looks like fun. Maybe a bit too difficult for my skills, though.

Also, if you haven't already, try out his Superman 64 LP (still in progress for the past three years). It's, in a way, part Let's Play; part multi-part, in-depth review; and part documentary, detailing the game's troubled production, interviewing one of the founders of Titus for information on the development and some background, discussing other Superman video games—the good, the bad, and the never released—that have kicked around from as far back as the Atari 2600note , and even giving backstory from Superman The Animated Series (since the game is based more on that than anything) and some information from the comics as well.

Not sure why people seriously participate in stream chats though, stream chats tend to be mostly bad jokes at best

Depends on how well-curated the chat is, but I can promise Jon's stream chat is full of generally-good people who, indeed, tell bad jokes in the "this is why there's a Chuggaaconroy emote" sense.
It moves fast since he's a big streamer but it's devoid of the problematic stuff super big streamers have in their chats.
