Interest Check--Culminated Aggression: The "First" Instance

I'm not good at explaining things in short.

The Firsts..abominations and betrayers to their families...They changed the world that day, in more ways than one. Explorers, they called themselves, terrorists we called them.

When they came back, they ran, faster than a human should be able to. We lost them that day, but eventually we found them and took them all out. Or so we thought.

They reproduced and intermingled with the pure, eventually becoming more "normal" as generations passed. But they weren't normal.

I'm planning on making a Sci-Fi, action, magical(?), 89% serious RP in a world with powered up kids. The player will start out very weak in the beginning then as their character gets older they will get stronger. This will take place in a span of 8-9 years in-game. This game won't have a lot of complicated mechanics(I think) but will be highly story driven.

Rules:

• Post at least a paragraph in each post. Sometimes other peoples' posts will put you in a bad spot, I understand though.
• Don't be a bother to other players. Calm debates can happen if you see someone post something you don't agree with(AKA: They posted something their character shouldn't know), tell them about it in a respectable way.
• No Godmodding or Auto-hitting.
• Profanity is allowed but don't overuse it. Also, if someone is uncomfortable with profanity being used, PM me.
• Spell to the best of your abilities.

Don't take this simplified plot seriously, I'm not good at summarizing things.

Basic plot I have so far simplified heavily: People go somewhere then transform then they come back to Earth and are hunted down. They have kids then their kids have kids then eventually down the line, your character is born. Then they go to a school in disguise and stuff happens.

Everyone will start out as a small child, preferably 6 or 7 but exceptions can be made. Then they grow as people and bad stuff happens and such.

If questions are had, ask them, because I know I didn't explain anything well. If you do understand what I said up there. Ask something else.

Ooh, if I understood you correctly then our Characters actually grow up as the RP carries on. If so then you can add that to the list of things that makes me interested in this

You did understand correctly. As they grow in age they grow in...everything else.

Mostly the normal stuff like increases to their human strengths: Speed, sight, etc. But then come the transformation of certain body parts and doing things to your body(Like heating your fingers. Bad example I know)

I call elasticity!

Sounds quite interesting.

That sounds redudant. Like, I'm not saying all characters can't be a little more resistant or a little stronger (but not super resistant or super strong), but if everyone has something like elasticity, it takes out the uniqueness from it. And uniqueness is something very important when talking about superheroes.

Like, for example, I want to do a speedster. The personality is molded around the speedster. If everyone can run as fast as him, then what's the point of him being a speedster?

Here's a more detailed version of what I meant: I'm going for an I Am Number Four type of power system. To where everyone will have some powers/enhancements that everyone else has. Like strength boosts, small speed boosts, etc. But everyone will also have unique pluses and minuses to these. Some may be faster than others, while some may be stronger than others. Then come in the totally unique powers(Like Heat Fingers, though that isn't a power, just a joke), some may have Heat fingers and they'd be the only one to have that, another person could have elasticity. On the signup sheet there will be a section for unique powers and there will be a section for common ones.

I probably just went back on the short sentence I typed up there, but i'm not good at making short sentences sound smart.

I was going to wait for maybe a day more to see how many people were interested in the concept. Then I was going to post the history of the Rp and signup sheet. Since i'm almost done writing the story.

Im interested, althought this common thing is a bit confusing. We have a common power than enhances some form of attribute like flexibility, agility or strength slightly, then another power like fire breathing or warm fingers as you suggested. (I didn't think it was possible to make that power sound even worse)

No. From what I gathered, common powers are things like better strength or better resistance. But things like flexibility are unique powers.

Can we get a sheet going here too?
