Poor Image: Camp Gay

Can we find something that looks more gay and less transsexual? A gay guy does not go around in full make-up.

Agreed. I don't like this picture for the page at all. I think it should be pulled and we should be looking for a new picture.

This picture always scared me. Let's look for a picture that doesn't present homosexuality so negatively.

Keep Until Better Image Suggested. It's not great, but it still illustrates the trope and is better than nothing. Let's see some alternatives here please.

Big Gay Al◊? Many more possible suggestions, but I'll only suggest this for now.

It confuses me. Looks like a crossdresser. I'd say pull.

@Spark: The problem is that this image confuses Camp Gay with transsexuality and crossdressing, neither of them have any bearing on this trope. Basically, while the guy's behavior is a good example, the picture doesn't show it well.

@Ret, the problem I have with that is kindy squicky and I wouldn't exactly be fore using something squicky outside of a trope that already squicky in and of it self.

Also, it's just kind of ugly and boring.

Here's some options other than Big Gay Al: Bruno◊, Patrick Stewart◊ from Jeffrey, and Lafayette from True Blood: 1◊, 2◊

I already gave suggestions of Bruno and that is Sacha Baron Cohen. The Patrick Stewart image works, but the first Lafayette has the body of a woman. The second one doesn't look too out of the ordinary.

The pink beret is okay.

I honestly think that 11.1 is the best suggestion so far.

I like Patrick Stewart's character (the one in pink beret). One of Brüno's pics might work, though it's too exaggerated if you ask me.

To me, all of the 11 look pretty ugly and exaggerated. Lafayette doesn't look gay to me at all.

I would go fo Patrick Stewart.
