Just a Face and a Caption: The Ditz

It's just a girl with an arguably vacant expression on her face (to me it looks like she's thinking). I get that it's trying to convey Dumb Blond and she's a cheerleader, therefore she's dumb, but that's meeting the picture more than halfway.

Surely we can find pictures of characters actually doing something dumb, rather than just going "She dumb. Take our word for it."

I think Ralph's been suggested before, albeit not that particular image. No idea about turkey-head man.

I think the current is better than either suggestion.

Wow, going through the old topics, I'm surprised how many people think her pose looks ditzy vs. thoughtful.

But even so, I think a better pic would be some showing something actually doing something ditzy rather than just looking like someone who might be a ditz. We could have a lot of fun with this one.

Out of all the suggestions, I like Ralph Wiggum the best.

I don't think any of the suggestions work as well as the current.

Besides, Ralph is already the page image for The Ralph Wiggum.

That's the same page; they've been merged.

Which is a redirect for The Ditz, so he actually isn't.

Nevertheless, I think the blonde is a better example than Ralph is.

@4 I think a big part of the reason for the confusion is that the pose is The Ditz's version of "thoughtful."

As for the suggestions (thank you for providing them!), the robot is my favorite, and the first Patty suggestion is good too. I'd be willing to vote on them in a crowner if this thread goes there.

Current is better than any suggestion. Some of them are just people standing there.

Barring any further suggestions, one or two more keep or Keep Until Better Image Suggested votes and we can wrap this one.

I'm in support of... doing absolutely nothing. I think the current works great. As others have already stated, even her thoughtful expression looks vapid.

It's been a little while since and nothing else, so let's lock up.
