Ah yes. That Disney Channel Flash show that was gone after one season and made by that MLP:FiM writer, with that Genki Girl fly who wanted to be a rock star. I actually quite liked it, even though I only watched it long after it was canceled.

I'm not LGBT. I just think Rain's really cool. Apologies if my humor gets too painful.

I don't really recall liking this show all that much when I was younger, and I can't help but feel that if I watched it again now, I'd hate it.

One of the very few girl-centric ANYTHINGS from Disney(Scratch that: Anything. Period.)that didn't have me want to go on a murder spree later. Disney probably had an evil plan that if it worked out too well, They'll forget about Phil Of The Future and Playhouse Disney shit. A big middle finger to you, CEO![lol]

[up] As much as I don't like this show at all, you have a good/valid point there.

Also (if you're not too mad at me to even talk to me that is...), what did you mean by 'One of the very few girl-centric ANYTHINGS from Disney(Period!) - oh, wait (unless Kim Possible is on this list of GOOD things girl-centirc, I see just WTF you're getting at!

Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.

I thought the show had potential, but the writing was just kinda terrible, mediocre at best. Loved Maggie's voice actress's...voice, as well its theme song, though.

Wasn't like every every episode a Downer Ending?

[up]I think I remember in the haloween episode, they, actually achieve getting human candy. But, most times, they were so-so endings.[lol]

[up][up] Yes! The only time I remember something working in Maggie's favor was when she brought her baby sister to a carnival. They had a tiff and made up and they went home like nothing happened.

I remember wanting to like it because I felt Dave the Barbarian was underrated and I really hate Disney Tween coms.

[up][up] Ugh I love the episode, but hate the ending, although the butterfly did end up happy though, making it a Bittersweet Ending.

I remember this show somewhat. It wasn't one of the best things I watched back during the glory days of Disney Channel, but I still recall a couple details of it every now and then.

...Man, Disney Channel was so great during that time. Davethe Barbarian, American Dragon Jake Long, Kim Possible, Thats So Raven, Philofthe Future, Liloand Stitchthe Series, The Proud Family. All of those shows were part of my childhood, and I'd give anything to be able to watch at least one of them through all the way again...Such a shame that Disney Channel has turned into a tween pandering piece of *bleep* though.

You realize that Thats So Raven and Phil Of The Future were technically part of the effort to pander toward tweens, yes? That's not a new pattern on Disney Channel at all—it goes back at least as far as Lizzie Mc Guire, and possibly even further back.

Yes but both of those shows at least had some charm to them that didn't feel awkwardly forced at times.

Eh, going back and rewatching them today might change your mind. What seemed fine when I was a kid/teen seems a lot more awkward at times now.

Remember when all Disney channel had were reruns of Mickey Mouse Club and The Famous Jett Jackson? Yea. I think it was pandering back then, only it was cool.

Cold hard truth (whether just IMHO or not): Disney's always been pandering to someone - it's only more blatant now than ever. Never forget that, everybody.

Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.

It's too bad that the show lasted only one season. The show wasn't even given a chance to grow the beard.

kinda not surprised that it was canceled, didn't get much advertising and I don't think a lot of people want to watch a show about a teenage fly in high school.

I just remember one summer when they kept advertising the Disney Channel as "All New!", but "The Buzz on Maggie" was the only actual new show, unless you counted some show they got from Canada.
